No, this isn't our "dream home," but a home I saw while I was on a fall color drive. This is located not too far from us. Just the whole neighborhood is located amidst the hills, and the hills, of course, are just beautiful with the fall colors. Like I mentioned previously, I think this year the colors are a bit faded because of the rains we've had; but I'm certainly looking forward to future years when I can capture some brilliant colors! Something to look forward to! Hope you enjoy!

In looking at the map, and trying to decipher where this house is located, it's kinda difficult as this is a fairly new neighborhood built into the hills near Holmen. I'm rather surprised they didn't call this area Holmen, but they have their reasons! It is kinda half-way between Holmen and Stevenstown. Beautiful area....beautiful homes!

Absolutely gorgeous, heritage style, dream home ( new or old I am not really sure, but the look is timeless ).

Pride of ownership radiates from this well cared for home.

Landscaping is truly wonderful. 10 ft high sunflowers, manicured box hedges, emerald cedars, green lawn, potted flowers, and even lit up wreaths accent the front porch.

Stonework, pillars, cozy enclosed porch with ceiling fans, upper deck and look at that orange front door.

So much for the eye to appreciate.

Set under the glow of the setting sun.

What is it about an old abandoned home's that draw's us near? A long forgotten dream, childhood memories, I don't think it's something I can put into words myself but never the less, it draws us near. Maybe it about what was, and now can never be again. Perhaps, a forgotten dream of yesterdays.....you decide.

A new verson of an old photo I wasn't happy with. Done in Topaz.

THE LOOK, Level 7 WHITE, 10 Awards, would have been GOLD, if there still was one! :)

...I do't think the caravan is coming out just yet.

It looks like heaven to me but when you view at 100% you can see just how much damage the wild Oregon Coast can do. Needs siding, roofing and multiple repair.

Love the spiral room and how it fits into the surroundings.

yep, i'm posting two fences... i'm really happy it's friday!

dreamhome or haunted house hiding on the hill?

I think we have all had that tug at our heart strings when we're traveling the highway of life and we see an image that just stops us. This was one of those moments for me. It reminded me of a simpler time I wish I could escape back to.

This is for all the people who couldn't stop.

Taken Mar. 7, 2015- 1 mile north of the town of Tomales, Calif along Hwy 1.

Ever run into a dream place on your travels that was just out of reach? A place that made you stop your travels for a short time and you can't explain why. But you find yourself wondering what if?

You've been a world away but you have finally came home. But its not the same as when you left, everything has changed. You have changed and the world around you has changed. You see things as they once were through rose petal memories. But those memories of what was, are now forever gone, are replaced by the reality in front of you. And you realize now, you can never go back even though you desperately yearn for an earlier and simpler time in your life, but that life is now in your distant past. As you approach your dream, you see it visibly slipping away like a fading dream before your eyes.

Your memories of coming home may vary....

Hello there! I hope all is well my friends! Super excited to post this pic today! This is my first Official blog post for Trompe Loeil! Featuring Trompe Loeil at the Uber Event with the Yelapa Cottage!Trompe Loeil has so many new things out atm I had to pick what called to me and it was this cottage! I love it so much! It has taken me some extra time to post since I had to decorate inside first before I started on the outside and I wanted it beautiful and lush. I have said many times I am not a landscaper. LOL So, it was just instinct to decorate the house inside first before I started outside. I know y'all didn't think I would post a pic of an empty house??? LMAO!!! Never! I hope you guys like this post and this lovely home. Thank you so much for the support and have a beautiful rest of your day and week! xoxo <3333 Ebony

had to buy a hospital lottery ticket on the house situated on this lake!

When trying to figure out what I wanted to do for an individual build for Brickworld 2019, I was at a little bit of loss. And then one day I was scrolling through facebook and saw a sponsored link for the 2019 HGTV Dream Home in Whitefish, Montana. I immediately fell in love and just had to build it in LEGO form. Construction took about six months and lots of measuring, and planning. The actual Montana Dream Home can be seen here: www.hgtv.com/design/hgtv-dream-home/2019/galleries and the LEGO version can be seen in person at Brickworld 2019.

A modern split-level beachhouse with swimmingpool. The main entrance is located on the back of the top floor where the facade is rather anonymous. The front facing the sea is more luxurious. The house is fully furnished with two bedrooms, kitchen, laundry room, lounge, bathroom, music corner, TV-room, office and guest toilet.

Before I started designing this house I did a quick poll among my Instagram followers to find out which of my previous houses they liked and why. In this MOC I've tried to combine some of the things mentioned.

The MOC is divided into three modules to enable transport. Although the base and cliff are hollow constructions, the build is very heavy. One of my largest MOCs so far (my LEGO Masters Sweden builds excluded).

Have you ever traveled to nowhere in particular and spotted a home that sets your heart a yearning? This is one at least for me. I wonder, who lives there, what are their lives are like, and more to my heart, what would be my feelings if I could live there?
