Complétement rénové, le port est un lieu privilégié de promenade, offrant des vues splendides sur la baie, le centre ville, mais aussi sur les yachts et voiliers de plaisance.
De nombreux pointus, bateaux de pêche traditionnels, sont également visibles le long du quai des pêcheurs : ces derniers proposent d’ailleurs tous les matins leur pêche du jour sous la halle aux poissons. C’est enfin le point de départ de nombreuses promenades en mer permettant la découverte de nos côtes.

After all the photographs from the landscapes around the island ile d'or I can't miss a closer shot. The island is in privat property and can't be visited. The tower is used as a lodging.

The massif de l'esterel are very nice uplands in a large part made of red porphyr, a vulcanic rock. It used to produce dyes out of it. And it was and is a very popular building material.
Das Massif de L'Esterel ist ein sehr schönes Mittelgebirge, was zum großen Teil aus roten Porphyr, einem vulkanisches Gestein, besteht. Früher wurde es zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen verwendet. Außerdem war und ist er ein begehrtes Baumaterial.

On my way back from high on top the cliff down to the coast I came across that dead tree. It looks like he once was growing right out of the rocks.
Auf meinem Weg von hoch oben auf den Klippen hinunter an die Küste kam ich an diesem toten Baum vorbei. Es sieht aus, als wäre er einst mitten aus dem Felsen gewachsen.
