One just does not run into SciFi Daleks and Time Travelers on the Bike Path in DsM. But this really ignited memories and my imagination. The recycle can and a pole does have a similar shape, resembling the the Daleks from the Dr. Who UK TV series (1963-89, and some post 2005).

The Daleks were a fictional extraterrestrial race of mutants /Dr. Who's adversaries/ and one group was blue. their favorite phrase "Exterminate" exemplified their cruel intention for all other "inferior" life in the universe. Save us from their blasters.

Shots of the third day of the con, I was flying solo today so I had to make a few changes I was using mostly my 45 f/1.8 instead of my 42.5 f/0.95 due to the major difference in weight. It was a fun time but I'm glad its over ;)

They built a replica Tardis in their front yard.

A first look at the new Cybermen from the 2006 series of Doctor Who. Looks a little retro to me, but I can't wait to see them in action!

Made a hama bead tardis on my girlfriends request.

 

Took about two days to finish. Required a lot of beads, glue and patience.
