These belonged to my grandfather and maybe his father. They are well over 100 years old. The pieces are bone pegged to very dark heavy wood that might be ebony. They are very tactile and make satisfying clacks in play!

Today is a yellow day at Color My World Daily and the theme at the fabulous *ღღ* Cosas de casa *ღღ Group is : table games.
This is the perfect opportunity to show you my favorite Domino game I got as a gift from a very good friend of ours in Cuba ( we call him Uncle Domino). The pieces are all hand made and hand painted so they are all slightly different (which I absolutely love). This set has truly a big sentimental value for my whole family. While spending time in Cuba we enjoyed our Domino « time » very much. And Cuban people love table games and especially Domino. You often see whole families playing together for hours ! And since I used the Dominos for my picture, we played a few games. Awesome family time, especially during pandemic !
