Siberian Huskies at Retordica, Plateau de Retord, Cuvéry, Ain, France
For more than 25 years, an international dog sled race has been taking place in the wilderness of Plateau de Retord. Many mushers love this site to train their teams throughout the winter.
The sled dog racing is subdivided into several categories according to the number of dogs harnessed and in three subcategories according to the breed of dogs harnessed.
Indeed, the faster Siberian Husky compete in a separate category, the other three breeds : Alaskan Malamute, Samoyed and Greenland dog run in the same category, while the so-called "Nordic type" dogs participate in their own category.

Today is National Dog Day and a chilly morning when we woke up and Maggie is all tucked into a blanket.
Some days we want to feel sexy and go out and have fun. Other days we just want to dress comfy and stay nestled in our homes surrounded by the things we love most.
If you are looking for a comfy new outfit, a great new home with adorable decor or new pets to fill it with check out Gacha Garden before it closes.

This well known, leisure loving dual is a common sight on the waters of White Rock Beach, BC Canada. They are spotted paddling, 100's of feet from the shore.
(** distance from shore, is a guess )

Heute mussten wir unseren Joker nach kurzer, schwerer Krankheit gehen lassen. Wir werden ihn sehr vermissen !
You know, you work, and you work, and you work on your dog's diction. You train daily with lots of positive reinforcement and he comes out with, "Wanna do somefin?". Where did we go wrong?
I know. I'm being weird. Let's blame it on the Autumnal Equinox. Glad it's Friday :-)
