On a dull and dreary day, KCS Fort Smith Dodger led by an EMD GP 38-2 crosses the Wooden trestle over Poteau River at Poteau, OK on its way back to its yard at Heavner, OK.

Dodger Stadium. Downtown Los Angeles. Golden hour light. All three in this shot from a helicopter. Many months ago. Helicopter aerials have been my favorite for quite some time. And it's about time to get back in the air. That's all I have to say about that.
The KCS Fort Smith Dodger is heading back to Heavener, OK. The train is seen here near Rock Island, OK. This was my first Drone shot of the trip, after looking for, and finding my lost drone in a tree, a few hours before this. After an hour or so searching, and then throwing water bottles about 30 feet in the air, I finally hit the drone and made the catch before it hit the ground. I missed all the shots of the NB trip to Fort Smith, But was able to get the SB chase, and the drone was ok!
Dodger stadium, Los Angeles
This was a hard composition to do because I wanted to see the stadium and downtown in the same time. At night it actually looked way nicer because of the city lights! Do you like to take night photos?
Another first for me, baking homemade Jammy Dodgers, I'm not that keen on the shop bought variety but these are very good.
The recipe is at Fig Jam and Lime Cordial
The DTLA skyline with Dodgers Stadium at sunset. Full pano from 11 vertical images. The clouds have a soft milky consistency as the evening light adds a glow to the atmosphere. This is a great vantage point, which I discovered many years ago, that is often seen in television commercials. There are many corners of Los Angeles that provide these extraordinary views.
** Thank you all for the comments and faves!! **
A trio of 4-axle EMD units lead a KCS local train - the "Watts Dodger" - around a curve just south of Siloam Springs, AR on October 25, 2021 as it heads back to Watts for the evening.
Dodger - 6 months old belongs to my son Jai.
He is adorable.

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of photographing the Arizona Diamondbacks at the Los Angeles Dodgers for three games. This was the Monday night game with Clayton Kershaw on the mound for the Dodgers. I was shooting for the Hobbs News-Sun out of Hobbs, NM. I had a couple of photos in the newspaper from the day game on Tuesday, as the evening games start time is already at the deadline for the morning edition the next day. I do provide them with photos of the evening games for the archives.

Dodger Stadium, Elysian Park. Los Angeles, CA. We'll have to wait until April to see it full again. It'd be nice to get another shot like this when there's a game going on. I wonder if that's possible...
Bagel with blue cream cheese / Dodgers didn't win the series (Houston Astros did) ..no matter, I love Texas, too !
It's time for Dodger baseball - opening day 04/04/2016
God bless Vin Scully, one more year to hear the golden voice

Photo taken at the Los Angelos Dodgers / Miami Marlins game at Dodger Stadium. At bat is Starlin Castro of the Miami Marlins, facing Ferguson of the Dodgers (I believe) in the 9th inning. The Dodgers ended up winning the game 9-0.
Elysian Park
Someone mentioned that this was a pretty important Dodger game. I was just worried about being in this park after nightfall.
Running very late due to early morning mechanical issues in Heavener and getting stopped by other rail traffic in Fort Smith, CPKC's Forth Smith Dodger (CPKC Train RK01-11) is approaching Poteau Oklahoma on its return run. Once the train arrives at the junction with CPKC Heavener Subdivision in Poteau the crew will tie the train down and wait for a crew van to take them back to Heavener to finish their day.
