"Je suis celle qu'on ne voit pas

Je suis celle qu'on n'entend pas

Je suis cachée au bord des larmes

Je suis la reine des drames

Quand tu veux dormir je viens pour t'embrasser

Si tu veux courir je rampe à tes côtés

Tu apprends, tu apprendras, je sens ton cœur

Tu comprends, tu comprendras comment t'y faire

Je suis celle qu'on ne voit pas

Je suis celle qu'on n'entend pas

Je suis cachée au bord des larmes

Je suis la reine des drames

Là, sur ta poitrine je cogne pour t'abîmer

Quand tu me devines j'essaye de résister

Tu apprends, tu apprendras, je sens ton cœur

Tu comprends tu comprendras comment t'y faire

Iceland 2017 - Unfortunately we encountered a pair of Great Northern Divers in breeding plumage a wet and dull day...will need to go back next year

Sometimes in the light of day, when the world feels safe, looking at the beauty of crystal city is wonderful

The story of the brave and strong little snail :) A few seconds later it broke through the water drop :)

A búvár csiga avagy a galád esőcsepp :) A bátor és erős kiscsiga története. Néhány másodperccel később áttörte a vízcseppet.

Finally Home! As for these images, the Z9 makes BIF a lot easier...stunningly it shoots at 1/30000.

Red-throated Loon (Diver), Gavia stellata

Eglwys Nunydd Reservoir , Margam, Glamorgan. Bird has been around a week though I was put off from going initially by reports of birders being kicked off site and having to view from across the M4 motorway. There were a trickle of photos coming out which contradicted this and when a friend went the day before without problem i gave it a go, arriving pre dawn to try and evade security. Got off to a bad start when i was met by security on the track in, but they just asked if i wanted to come in through the gate ! (seems they are only kicking people out when there is sailing typically at weekends). So i did, went up to the res and there was the bird right in front of me. Light wasnt great but for the next 90 minutes it showed at point blank range. A very rare vagrant visitor with 9 previous records in Britain, a bit smaller than a GND and closely related to the BTD.

A few more from Shetland, of a bird I was most hoping to see during my time there. I'll be back again in the Summer next year, and very much hope to catch up with them again.

As per my earlier posts of this bird, these photos were taken under controlled circumstances and under the provision of a Schedule 1 license holder.

Je vous souhaite à toute et à tous de très belle fêtes de fin d'année et une excellente année 2016.

Surprised to witness the ungainly spectacle of this stunning water bird clambering on to dry land! This didn't last long before it slipped back into its comfort zone amongst the waves. Norfolk coast in late November (UK) (5446)

Captured and composed on i-devices.

Single image.

Melbourne Aquarium.

One of the most difficult and frustrating locations to shoot. Dark, no natural light with smeared and scratched tank glass.
