On Dec 21, 2014, Mayor Ras J. Baraka, the City of Newark’s Office of Community Engagement hosted a free Toy Distribution for Newark children at the CityPlex 12 Theater.
The City partnered with CityPlex 12 and G-Wiz Entertainment to collect and donate new, unwrapped toys. Children also had the opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus.

Two halves of Reading's Inner Distribution Road were built, on the southern and western sides, with some of the grade-separated junctions too. This made up stages 1 and 2 of the Inner Distribution Road project. The dashed lines show how stage 3 would provide a flyover on the roundabout with Southampton Street, and how the planned eastern side would've looked. While the flyover was opened, running as far as Queens Road, the eastern flank was never built. The roundabout at the northern end on Fornbury Road was built however.
