Esistono paesaggi di montagna che presentano una singolare e affascinante dimensione orizzontale. Tra questi figurano gli altipiani e, in particolare il Pian Grande di Castelluccio di Norcia. Un luogo magico, che pur trovandosi oltre i mille metri di quota offre visioni planari in cui gli spazi sono segnati dalle geometrie dell'uomo e dai colori delle sue colture ..... ..

I have tried to give this photo another expression compare to the first one.........
I am still amazed by the beggar and how he was sitting there for the hole exposure...as you can see on the ohter guy, he is dancing around, as life was easy...
Let's face it now, it isn't everyday we see a genuine example of anti gravity anywhere let alone in agarden is it now? Yet here we have it along with the evidence, and not just any garden - it's in our garden! I know, it's incredible, but its not for sale so don't even go there.
The only other example I can think of is those UFO things that keep turning up on people's phones, but as folks don't believe in those, that makes this little baby unique does it not.
I'll tell you something else, it's totally silent, doesn't make a sound and you can pass your hands all around and underneath it like one of those stage magicians - it doesn't seem to mind. Nor, does it limit itself to any one flowerbed, oh no it moves with it's whims not just the sun, hot border in the morning, vegetable patch in the afternoon - it even followed me into the house one day!
A couple of days after taking this very photo, my wife and I had to pop to the garden centre (we were looking for something inter dimensional) and this little baby kept pace with us for an entire kilometre. It was only as we turned out of our road and my wife put the pedal to the metal that we thought we had lost it - I say 'thought' because when we pulled into the car park at the garden centre about 10 miles away there it was! I don't think anyone else saw it for it was hovering about 50 feet in the air directly over the compost bags, as it did so it slowly rotated and as the sun caught its petals it appeared to change colour - just like one of those bona fide UFOs that don't exist, and when we got home an hour later, there it was, sunning itself next to the garlic. I know, I know, it's incredible, but it isn't for sale so don't even go there....
I took this shot circa 1974 with the Pentax K1000 film camera. This photo was scanned from a print. These third graders are hard at work creating three dimensional clay maps of continents and ocean floors as part of a curriculum I helped create and develop.

Situado éste sobre la cima del Monte Roel en la Sierra de las Estancias y construido en el siglo XVIII, es la joya arquitectónica más importante con la que cuenta Albox, declarado además monumento histórico-artístico.
El templo se construyó sobre la antigua ermita erigida en el poblamiento prehistórico de Monte Roel, un enclave privilegiado para los primeros asentamientos humanos, debido a su localización en la ruta histórica que llevaba de la comarca de los Vélez a la del Valle del Almanzora, la proximidad de manantial fácilmente accesible y a la protección que proporciona dominar el amplio valle circundante.
Fue Claudio Sanz y Torres, obispo de la diócesis de Almería, quien lo mandó construir en el año 1769 para albergar la legendaria imagen de la Virgen, dotándolo de carácter conventual.
Se trata de un edificio de grandes dimensiones, con una superficie aproximada de 2.500 metros cuadrados en el que, según la tradición, existen tantas puertas y ventanas como días tiene el año. La iglesia tiene planta de cruz con cabecera de triple ábside y una gran cúpula con pechinas sobre el altar mayor, presidido por una hornacina en la que se ubica la venerada imagen de la Virgen del Saliente.

La Ermita-Santuario de Ntra. Sra. del Socorro, es un edificio religioso edificado a finales del siglo XVI, se termina en 1592 sobre otro anterior de menores dimensiones, que ya existía antes de 1520 en honor a San Sebastián. Posteriormente en 1972, se realiza una reestructuración importante del edificio dando como resultado el edificio que nos ha llegado actualmente.
La fisonomía interna recuerda al estilo de la Compañía de Jesús tanto en las paredes del templo como en la cúpula del crucero, la bóveda del cañón o la decoración.
Pensado como santuario-monasterio, alberga un patio interior porticado de madera con un pozo central. Consta de dos plantas y habitaciones en ambos cuerpos.
Es un lugar de peregrinación y fervor religioso en toda la comarca desde que en torno a 1580 hubo una “aparición mariana”, traspasando su fama no sólo a los pueblos de la comarca, sino también a otros muchos a nivel nacional y ultramar.

Esistono infatti dimensioni infinitesimali e dimensioni ciclopiche; ciascuna dotata di espressioni di grande fascino. In questo caso, ad esempio, una foresta di steli, che reggono le capsule con le spore di un muschio, presenta dimensioni pari a qualche decina di millimetri ..... ..

People come people go in this vintage one of a kind old diner in an industrial area. This gentleman blended almost a little too well. Popular and well-known this diner has been around for a very long time. The blue-collar workers lineup hungry and anxious for their fresh cooked hot meal. Some silverbacks Wander in Grab a table nurse a cup of coffee in a real mug then anxiously await their meal to then spend a whole lot more time just sitting and blending Till it’s time to disappear.

En Sevilla, en el Parque de María Luisa y en la isleta central del estanque de los patos encontramos un exótico pabellón, donde según nos cuenta la leyenda el rey Alfonso XII declaró su amor a María de las Mercedes, hija de los duques de Montpensier
Es el conocido pabellón de Alfonso XII
Es un templete de forma hexagonal, de pequeñas dimensiones, con arcos de herradura y de reminiscencias neo árabes, en su interior unos bancos nos permiten descansar a lo sombra de los árboles que lo rodean, algunos, ejemplares únicos en el parque
Hace un tiempo y dentro de un programa de dinamización del parque, durante los meses de verano, todos los viernes por la tarde se celebran conciertos con la actuación de jóvenes músicos, actuaciones que fueron muy bien acogidas por el público que acude a disfrutar, no solo de la música sino también del entorno romántico que conforman el estanque, el arbolado y los pájaros diversos revoloteando por el cielo

SANT JOAN DE LES ABADESSES
El monasterio de Sant Joan de les Abadesses es una de las joyas del románico catalán y sus orígenes datan del siglo IX. El edificio actual es del siglo XII y aunque un terremoto en 1428 derribó el campanario y parte del cimborrio, se encuentra en buen estado. Se trata de una iglesia de una sola nave con un amplio transepto del que se destacan cinco pequeños ábsides.
En el interior, sobrio como todas las iglesias románicas, hay varios elementos de gran interés, siendo el más destacable el conjunto escultórico del Descenso de la Cruz, la muestra escultórica de mayor relevancia del medioevo catalán. Hay también un pequeño claustro gótico adosado y un palacio abacial. El monasterio se encuentra en el centro de la población, de la que se conserva un núcleo histórico de dimensiones reducidas.

The monastery of Sant Joan de les Abadesses is one of the jewels of Catalan Romanesque and its origins date from the ninth century. The present building is of the twelfth century and although an earthquake in 1428 demolished the bell tower and part of the dome, it is in good condition. It is a single-nave church with a large transept of which stand out five small apses.
In the interior, sober as all Romanesque churches, there are several elements of great interest, the most outstanding being the sculptural ensemble of the Descent of the Cross, the most important sculptural exhibition of the Catalan medioevo. There is also a small Gothic cloister and an abbey palace. The monastery is located in the center of the town, from which a historical nucleus of small dimensions is conserved.
