A vector based drawing is used to cut a slice by using a digital cutting machine. Digital cutting is the best solution for limited editions.

The clematis are in bloom in my yard, and I have been using them to make images which I have been posting here this week. Tonight I used Painter's pattern pen, loaded with the digital pattern that I made a few days ago from my photo of the clematis blossom. I chose a background color to evoke the color of the flower, and loaded my pattern pen with digital pastel in pale pink. (With pastel, the pattern prints "in reverse," just like a negative.) I used a very large digital "brush" to make the strokes, and when I had a composition that I liked, I posterized the image, adjusting the posterizing controls many times until I had what I wanted. So this is not really a print, but I kind of stumbled upon this process myself, and I think the resulting images looks like prints.

This project was about the relationship between art and fashion. This was a collaboration with my friend who studied Fine arts at the national art school Tom kusturin and me.

This is the print of my original art work.

It's called "paper paper rock".

All the drawings on the images are my original pencil drawings, and they are manipulated, and colored in photoshop.

We were recently involved in the printing of new magazine PAPER RUNWAY, a quarterly magazine offering a mix of paper goodness, hot paper products, fabulous features, beautiful paper, party inspirations and features the best paper sculptors, artists, illustrators, creators and quick DIY projects.

Our involvement included printing CMYK throughout then Singer sewing on the spine with yellow thread and finished with rounded corners.
