This discussion was at the center of the PILLARs dialogue on AI readiness and digital public health infrastructure, convened by PAHO and @Vital Strategies during #WHA79. I appreciated the opportunity to exchange perspectives on the importance of strengthening data systems, interoperability, governance, and workforce capacity to support sustainable AI adoption in public health.
Advancing AI readiness will require collaboration, shared learning, and sustained investment in digital public health infrastructure.
