A test-shot of my digital VR Photo Gallery entryway.
There is now a FULL VIRTUAL TOUR of all 4+ gallery halls with interlinking over on Kuula. kuula.co/post/n1/collection/7qvSh
Hey Flickr - how about a full VR tour solution for digital galleries?! An immersive experience is the next thing! It's being used in Sales/Marketing, real-estate, museums and galleries, education, team collaboration and more.
Interestingly, this test showed me that while Flickr has always been a lot better at displaying photos than Facebook, this 360 spherical image is rendered SO MUCH better on FB and on Kuula!
Here, unfortunately, the quality is quite poor (it's been downsized) and it suffers from nasty distortion issues at the top and bottom "poles". Zooming is also not possible (except when viewing on a mobile device). The Flickr app also does not render this as a 360 image.

Wer erinnert sich noch an die Handschattenspiel - Sammelkarten aus der Cigarettenpackung?
Cigrettenpackungen enthielten einst Sammelkarten. Auf wenig Raum wurden Anregungen Ratschläge usw. attraktiv illustriert und vermittelt. (Karten der Firma F. & J. Smith's Cigarettes)
gesehen im Gewerbemuseum Winterthur
Background: Cigarette or Tobacco cards began in the mid-19th century as premiums, enclosed in product packaging. They were usually issued in numbered series of twenty-five, fifty, or larger runs to be collected, spurring subsequent purchases of the same brand. Typically, these small cards feature illustrations on one side with related information and advertising text on the other. The height of cigarette card popularity occurred in the early decades of the 20th century, when tobacco companies around the world issued card sets in an encyclopedic range of subjects. After a slump during the First World War, popularity resumed, with new emphasis on film stars, sports, and military topics. Plants, animals, and monuments of the world remained perennially favorite themes.

Harvey romance comics @ Wikipedia
" Harvey Comics published five romance comics series in the industry's pre-Comics Code years that had long runs. Covers were line-drawn and Michelle Nolan, author of Love on the Racks, explains that Harvey Comics "tried to provide thematic distinction—First Love and First Romance, Hi-School Romance, True Love Problems and Advice, and True Brides' Experiences (plus a couple of variations of that title)."
Following the imposition of the Comics Code in the early 1950s, Harvey dropped some of their adult titles and concentrated on various children's series such as Richie Rich and Caspar the Friendly Ghost. The company did however continue to publish their five romance titles..."
