This piece is about reintegration — not into society, but into a version of yourself that survived without you. The figure walks with purpose, but the city no longer fully belongs to him. Lights blur into memory. Faces become echoes. The buildings flicker like they were rendered too late. I wanted this image to feel like the moment you realize you’ve changed — and the world didn’t wait.
This isn’t the return. It’s the recording of a return that already happened without you.

The Grievers reflects on the moment where personal sorrow merges with ancestral mourning. The faces in this piece do not threaten they weep with you, for you, through you. This is a portrait of generational grief, shared not through stories but through silence, illness, and gesture. The central figure isn’t merely in pain they are the vessel of an unspoken elegy passed down through blood. Through layered translucency, sculptural decay, and digital erosion, I wanted to capture how grief imprints itself not just on memory, but on flesh. We don’t just remember the ones we’ve lost we become their echo.

Inheritance of Still Waters explores the uneasy inheritance of beauty, memory, and silence passed through generations of bodies animal, human, and architectural.
At first glance, the swans appear serene. Their curves echo the calm surface they float upon. But their tails unexpectedly human—unsettle the gaze. Are they deformed? Are they evolving? Are they remembering?
The cave in the cliffside is a passage not into death, but into origin. It is both egg and grave, a silent mother from which these creatures emerge.
This work asks what happens when memory becomes a shape rather than a story, when what we inherit is not knowledge but mood. Stillness, silence, symmetry and something just off-center.

“Ascension Draft” captures a moment of motionless flight. The feathers hang, not as symbols of flight, but as remnants—of thought, of identity, of something already shed. The subject does not look up; she rises within. Dressed in black, bathed in light, she exists between tension and release. This is not escape—it is acceptance.

Not all departures leave a sound. Some simply shift the light.
“She Left Nothing But the Shape of Her Silence” is about the quiet moment after the storm when the crows no longer call, when the fabric no longer clings. The tunnel isn’t escape. It’s acceptance.
She doesn’t look back because there’s no need to. Everything that mattered already followed her into the dark.
I built this image as an echo, a visual inhale before the final breath is released.

Not all ruins collapse. Some open.
“She Stood Where the Wall Gave In” is a confrontation between the ornate and the inevitable. The architecture here isn’t just history it’s expectation. Culture. Gender. Beauty. Legacy.
And still, it buckles.
The red figure doesn’t mourn the loss. She acknowledges it. She doesn't avert her gaze. She is there to see it fall.
I wanted to depict the moment when everything meant to endure fails and someone finally faces it without flinching.

Not every staircase leads to revelation.
“Nothing Waits at the Top” is about expectation and emptiness the myths we build around ascension. The space is monolithic, almost sacred, but there is no altar, no witness, no climax. The red figure climbs because there is nowhere else to go.
The floating scraps of fabric are not ghosts. They’re questions.
I wanted to explore a visual language where the figure is not central, but incidental where architecture, emptiness, and ritual silence hold the real power. This is not about transformation. It’s about finding out the journey never mattered.

This is not ascent. It is aftermath.
“All the Daughters Left Behind” was born from the idea that houses remember. And sometimes, they rot from the insidenot from mold, but from memory. The staircase is not a path upward, but a procession site. Each red mass on the steps is a silence, a story, a woman who was told to be quiet until she disappeared into wallpaper.
The figure walks not toward freedom but toward witness. She is not mourning them. She is them.
The light isn’t holy. It’s exposure. And in that light, the truth becomes impossible to ignore.

Some ceremonies are not performed. They’re endured.
“She Waited Where the Birds Remembered” takes place inside an impossible space: part ruin, part vessel, part memory. The birds do not mourn her. They mourn through her.
I built this image to evoke the stillness that follows destruction not the chaos, but the weight. She does not call to the birds. She simply waits among them, as if she already knew they'd come.
The structure isn’t a prison. It’s a reliquary. And she is not a victim. She is what remains when the story ends and the world has not yet begun again.

“Breath Left Behind” captures the quiet haunt of the inhale the trace of presence that remains even after the body moves on. This piece does not shout. It lingers. The smoke is both veil and exhalation, blurring the boundary between self and aftermath.
Where does the soul end?
Where does memory begin?
The composition invites the viewer not just to look, but to listen. To lean in. To feel the sigh suspended between absence and becoming.

The Things That Remember Us explores memory as something extrinsic outsourced, orphaned, and eventually weaponized. The orbs that float in this scene aren’t just remnants; they are witnesses, quietly decaying, leaking their fragments into the void. The lone figure seated in contemplative exposure is neither creator nor destroyer, but the last to remember being seen. There’s a ritualistic stillness to their pose, a resignation to the cold, metallic mausoleum of a world that once ran on recognition. This piece meditates on beauty, destruction, and the things that outlive their designers.

“The Quiet of the Oracle” is about the act of witness. A figure in traditional dress stands before an object that offers no explanation—only presence. The orb is cracked, scarred, but still floats. The figure does not plead or protest; she observes. This work asks how much belief can live in silence, and what we choose to call divine when everything else is dark.

This work explores the tension between how we appear and what’s quietly decaying underneath. The face in this piece isn't a person it’s the memory of one. It’s the identity that remains when feeling is gone, when interaction is distant, when the world rushes past without looking. The surface erosion the chipped glass, the scattered droplets isn’t damage. It’s evidence. Evidence that we existed. Evidence that something once mattered. And perhaps still does, even if only through the marks left behind. This is not a portrait. It’s an archaeological site of the self.

Artist Statement:
This work exists in the exact moment before devouring. Before we’re swallowed by the systems that built us, loved us, packaged us. The childlike figure is not innocent but sharpened, armored in latex resolve. The gaping mouth is symbolic of media, patriarchy, generative hunger, and the grotesque hunger of “audiences.” And yet the figure doesn’t scream. They offer a tongue, detached, as if to say: "Here. You wanted sound. Choke on it."
This image explores themes of trauma, reclamation, and symbolic castration through surrealist horror aesthetics. It’s about flipping the predator-prey script and transforming it into a ritual of refusal.

Artist Statement:
This piece is a reflection on decay disguised as luxury. I wanted to create an image where beauty, memory, and distortion coexist where the mirror does not show the past or future, but a synthetic still-life of identity held too tightly. The figure is dressed for a ballroom that never arrived, trapped in a silent loop of preparation and refusal. The gown is fused to her body. Her legs are sculpted too smooth. The room, like the moment, is frozen in a formaldehyde of curated femininity.
“After the Hour of Elegy” is not about loss. It’s about the inability to leave the room where you lost yourself.
