I employed several new techniques I came up with on this one so I think of it as more of a prototype. Still it almost gets at what I was trying to do so I'm going to post it.
... not every morning mind you, but occasionally. Conditions often seem better on the days when there really is no time for photography, and your supposed to be somewhere, just had to jump out of the car and snap this though.
Digital Art....this is a small section of my new succulent garden in the morning light...the beach stones and agates were collected over the years.

When I was down at Fairburn today I was talking to some other photographers about how I was looking forward to macro season again. I know some people have managed to do it through the winter but I've been focusing on wildlife and landscape. I thought I'm sure i've got loads I haven't done anything with. A quick look and I found this little jumper that I found in Namibia. It was on a hand rail in the Etosha national park.

There were many moments in the last few months which made me feel like I was mindlessly following external concepts in different areas of life. I'm still feeling that way, except for the fact, that once I've realised it, it doesn't feel as mindlessly anymore.
