Nightcapture in the old town of Meersburg on Lake Constance.
Shot near Central Park. These are the actual colors on the structure.I just enhanced them a little.I don't exactly know which street I took this shot, but between 59th and 79th streets there are many old mansions that once were owned by some of NYC elite from the 19th century. Some of them have been converted into embassies and museums. Most of the museums are strewn along 5th Avenue between 82nd and 104th streets in what is known as Museum Mile.

Before the sun shone directly on the water in the morning and outshone it, I "played" a bit with exposure times and details.
The water has such a high falling speed that 1/8 to 1/10 exposure time is sufficient to make it soft and yet with a certain movement.

Today's theme is Australian wildflowers. First, details from a Bottlebrush tree or Callistemon citrinus. This is an evergreen shrub named for the spikes of the flowers that grow at the end of the branches, with a close resemblance to a bottle brush.
As a native Australian plant, the bottlebrush prefers warm temperatures. The bottlebrush tree will fill your garden with a delicious lemony citrus smell while filling your garden with vibrant red-coloured flowers. Birds, butterflies and other insects will flock to your yard to drink the sweet nectar from their flowers.

Legend about the foundation of Teruel
According to a legend, to found the new city, the wise men and the main people of the town met and looked for various signs and omens, finding it favorable that a bull would bellow from a height and that a star would shine on the bull. From this meeting, according to some authors, the city takes its name, since it would come from combining in one word the word "bull" and the name of the star, "Actuel", thus forming the word "Toroel", and then "Toruel".
Another of the most widespread legends about the origin of the name of the city explains that, in distant times, the location of the towns was carried out using a wild animal: it was chased and in the place where it was shot down, a sanctuary. Around this altar the town was built.
The villagers who lived in the area went out in search of a wild bull that was roaming the surroundings. One night the animal stopped under a star and began to bellow. The champions took as good the signs that Heaven and Earth presented to them, and built the town there. They took from the bull three letters, TOR, and from the star, called Actuel, another three, UEL. These six letters together gave the name to the town: TORUEL.
The place where the bull and the star stopped is now the plaza "del torico".
