Hurricane Sandy (also unofficially known as "Superstorm Sandy") was the deadliest and most destructive hurricane of the 2012 Atlantic hurricane season, as well as the second-costliest hurricane in United States history. Classified as the eighteenth named storm, tenth hurricane and second major hurricane of the year, Sandy was a Category 3 storm at its peak intensity when it made landfall in Cuba.[1] While it was a Category 2 storm off the coast of the Northeastern United States, the storm became the largest Atlantic hurricane on record (as measured by diameter, with winds spanning 1,100 miles (1,800 km)).[2][3] Estimates as of March 2014 assess damage to have been over $68 billion (2013 USD), a total surpassed only by Hurricane Katrina.[4] At least 286 people were killed along the path of the storm in seven countries.[5]

Sandy developed from a tropical wave in the western Caribbean Sea on October 22, quickly strengthened, and was upgraded to Tropical Storm Sandy six hours later. Sandy moved slowly northward toward the Greater Antilles and gradually intensified. On October 24, Sandy became a hurricane, made landfall near Kingston, Jamaica, re-emerged a few hours later into the Caribbean Sea and strengthened into a Category 2 hurricane. On October 25, Sandy hit Cuba as a Category 3 hurricane, then weakened to a Category 1 hurricane. Early on October 26, Sandy moved through the Bahamas.[6] On October 27, Sandy briefly weakened to a tropical storm and then restrengthened to a Category 1 hurricane. Early on October 29, Sandy curved north-northwest and then[7] moved ashore near Brigantine, New Jersey, just to the northeast of Atlantic City, as a post-tropical cyclone with hurricane-force winds.[1][8]

In Jamaica, winds left 70% of residents without electricity, blew roofs off buildings, killed one, and caused about $100 million (2012 USD) in damage. Sandy's outer bands brought flooding to Haiti, killing at least 54, causing food shortages, and leaving about 200,000 homeless; the hurricane also caused two deaths in the Dominican Republic. In Puerto Rico, one man was swept away by a swollen river. In Cuba, there was extensive coastal flooding and wind damage inland, destroying some 15,000 homes, killing 11, and causing $2 billion (2012 USD) in damage. Sandy caused two deaths and damage estimated at $700 million (2012 USD) in The Bahamas. In Canada, two were killed in Ontario and an estimated $100 million (2012 CAD) in damage was caused throughout Ontario and Quebec.[9]

In the United States, Hurricane Sandy affected 24 states, including the entire eastern seaboard from Florida to Maine and west across the Appalachian Mountains to Michigan and Wisconsin, with particularly severe damage in New Jersey and New York. Its storm surge hit New York City on October 29, flooding streets, tunnels and subway lines and cutting power in and around the city.[10][11] Damage in the United States amounted to $65 billion (2013 USD).[12]

About my pictures:

Since 2014 I've been documenting the daily, destructive, poisonous chemtrail activity in the Dayton, Ohio area -- home of the notorious Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (visited by every important person on Earth, and even a few Aliens ;-) -- and apparently from my photo and video documentation, Chemtrail Central. This area has been getting chemtrailed on a massive, daily basis and is being conducted, as they say, “in plain sight”. I've got over 15,000 high-resolution pictures already uploaded and available for free on Flickr, with thousands more on the way:

THE EASTERN GRAY/EASTERN GREY SQUIRREL (SCIURUS CAROLINENSIS)

By Paul Williams

The Grey (or Gray) squirrel, you either love 'em or you hate 'em. Cute and fluffy little funsters or destructive critters who ruin trees, kill bird chicks and trees and damage our homes... oh and it's their fault we lost our native Red squirrels as well!

OK

I get it and I see both sides of the story of course. For my part, I am a nature, wildlife and landscape photographer who prefers the company of animals and natural beauty to fellow humans who are systematically plundering Mother Earth's resources and killing off her beautiful creatures at an alarming rate! I believe there is a natural order of things, creatures kill other creatures to survive, they adapt to situations and when mankind encroaches on their territory to make a fast buck, those animals sometimes adapt to survive and the order changes. That is the balance of nature which is ever changing and affected by us..... the dumbest of the great apes. Some species are driven out by others, some may be destined to become extinct, the fittest will survive, and sometime a species will need intervention and help from mankind in order to survive... usually as a direct consequence of mankind's own actions in destroying the animal kingdom's natural habitat of course.

I adore these little fellas and at almost sixty years old, I never grew up knowing red squirrels at all. I've seen reds in Scotland and black squirrels in Stanley Park on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, but in my beloved home country of England I have always known and loved the cute little Greys. They visit my garden and give me hours, days, weeks of happiness and wonderful photographic opportunities, and I see them in Parks and forests all around me, so it's time to offer up an insight into the Grey squirrel, much loved, much hated... a sort of Marmite rodent if you will.

WHAT EXACTLY IS A SQUIRREL?

The word 'Squirrel', was first recorded in 1327 and hails from the Anglo-Norman word 'Esquirel', from old French 'Escurel', which was a reflex for the Latin word 'Sciurus'.The Eastern gray squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) is also known as the Eastern Grey squirrel or simply grey squirrel depending on the region of the world it is found. It is a tree squirrel, of the squirrel family Sciuridae including over one hundred arboreal species native to all continents of the world other than Antarctica and Oceania. Tree squirrels live mostly in trees, apart from the flying squirrel. The best known genus is Sciurus, containing most of the bushy tailed squirrels which are found in Europe, North America, temperate Asia as well as central and south America.

The scientific classification for the Eastern Grey is:

KINGDOM: ANIMALIA PHYLUM: CHORDATA CLASS: MAMMALIA ORDER: RODENTIA FAMILY: SCIURIDAE GENUS: SCIURUS SUBGENUS: SCIURUS SPECIES: SCIURUS CAROLINENSIS

They were first noted by German naturalist, botanist, entomologist, herpetologist, and malacologist - Johann Friedrich Gmelin in 1788.

A mammal and rodent, predominantly herbivorous they are none the less an omnivore with a life span of between two and ten years. They can grow to 70cm in length and weigh up to 8kg. There are more than two hundred and sixty species of worldwide squirrel, the smallest being the African pygmy squirrel at just 10cm in length, whereas the Indian giant squirrel is three feet long! The oldest fossil of a squirrel, Hesperopetes, dates back to the late Eocene epoch period Chadronian period of 40-35 million years ago. The tree squirrels rotate their ankles by 180 degrees, so that the hind paws pointy backwards gripping tree bark which enables them to descend a tree headfirst.

Originally native to Eastern and Midwestern United States of America, they were first introduced into the United Kingdom in 1876 in Henbury Park, Macclesfield in Cheshire when Victorian banker Thomas V. Brocklehurst released a pair of Greys that he brought back from a business trip to America after their attraction as pets had waned. Victorians had a penchant for collecting exotic animals and birds of the world, but trends came and went and subsequently animals were simply discarded into the wilderness. There are early records of greys released near Denbighshire in north Wales from private collections. Later introduced to several regions in the UK, they quickly settled and spread, colonizing an area of three hundred miles in a quarter of a century between Argyll and Stirlingshire in Scotland.

Introductions of the Greys between 1902 and 1929 (the year of the last recorded introduction), included: Regent’s Park in London, Berkshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, Devon, Warwickshire, Nottinghamshire, Suffolk and Hampshire. Grey Squirrels spread into Gloucestershire and eastern Wiltshire with animals coming directly from the United States or from Woburn. One hundred greys were released in Richmond Park in Surrey in 1902, Ninety one into Regent’s Park between 1905 and 1907 and a further ten New Jersey imported greys were introduced into Woburn Park in Bedfordshire.

Predators include hawks, weasels, raccoons, bobcats, foxes, domestic and feral cats, snakes, owls, and dogs, African harrier-hawks in Africa and... oh yes, Mankind pretty much everywhere who despise, mistreat, cull or eat it .

FACTS, MYTHS AND THAT POXY PARAPOX!

The massive decline in native red squirrels blamed upon the spread of the invasive greys has always been perhaps a little harsh as reds were already in a steep decline due to loss of habitat and disease and thus the greys simply took over the areas where the reds were dwindling. It's also a fact that reds were also seen as a plague, branded as pests who killed birds and damaged trees and the culling of reds almost brought them to the brink of extinction. Licenses to kill reds could still be obtained up until the seventies!

Reds suffered at the hands of mankind thanks to a combination of agricultural deforestation also linked with war and fuel needs which caused extinction in Southern Scotland and Ireland by the early eighteenth century, way before greys had been introduced. Harsh winters killed off the less hardy red population in the early nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

Greys are more adept at finding food and adapting to locations and environments, but also carry the squirrel poxvirus (SQPV) which although not particularly harmful to them, is a serious infection for the reds.

Parapox in red squirrels causes swollen lesions around the mouth, eyes, ears and nose also the front paws and sometimes genitals and skin ulcers and kills a red within fifteen days. There is no definitive correlation between the spread of the virus and the spread of the Greys, it actually arrived in several areas before the greys began to colonize there. An epidemic virus was observed in Red squirrels from at least 1900 with isolation attempts failing, and the first case of Parapox in the UK was in 1980 in the county of Norfolk. Greys cannot transmit the virus to reds via saliva or faeces, but reds can between each other from bodily secretions and at animal feeders in gardens. The transmission from greys to reds is though to come from parasites. Eight to ten per cent of reds survive the virus, and there is some evidence that reds are slowly building an evolved resistance.

Greys are seen as pests to forest land, stripping bark from trees during May and June, and are also capable of destroying household bins, water pipes, causing roof damage not to mention taking eggs and killing young chicks of ground nesting and songbird populations. They also take from bird feeders and there is a whole industry for creating squirrel proof feeders these days.

THE CULLING OF GREY SQUIRRELS

Grey squirrels have limited legal protection and can be legally controlled all year round by a variety of methods including shooting and trapping. Methods of trapping and killing include Drey poking and shooting, Tunnel trapping using spring traps set in accordance with BASC’s trapping pest mammals code of practice. They can also be shot using a shotgun or powerful air rifle or up until September 30th 2014 poisoned by Warfarin (Now outlawed).

Whilst professional trapping and extermination is hopefully done as humanely as possible, there have been cases, many of them where cost savings have been gained by battering the squirrels to death! Grey squirrels are trapped in ghastly metal contraptions for hours and hours, wearing themselves out frantically trying to escape by gnawing at the metals bars. They bite the floor and scratch at them with their claws and do not get a moments peace or rest through absolute fear. Once the traps are retrieved, each squirrel, terrified will be thrown into a sack and smacked on the head countless times with a blunt instrument. When a mother is slaughtered, her babies who are totally dependent on her, will die a slow death of thirst and starvation.

There is an argument for the control of Greys on many grounds but also a counter argument that Culling does not work, and has not on countless times where, once a population of greys have been culled, the nearest group will move back in and claim the land. The university of Bristol concluded that there was little evidence that culling greys to save red squirrels was effective, and that perhaps finding a way of boosting red squirrel immunity to the poxvirus or planting areas of yew trees where reds are known to thrive and spending money on research into positive moves might be a better option.

In Ireland, the re-introduction of the Pine marten, a species made extinct originally by the very same land owners who also wish to do the same to the grey squirrel, has seen the rapid demise of the grey and the reintroction of the native reds. Red squirrels are smaller and more nimble than their grey counterparts, and as such can get to the very ends of tree branches where neither the pine martins, nor more importantly the heavier greys can, thus surviving and thriving. As a result in Ireland, the grey squirrel population has crashed in approximately 9,000 km2 of its former range and the reds has become common once more after a thirty year absence... oh and Pine Martens are protected again!

In Scotland, Pine Martens exist in areas where Red squirrels thrive, and greys do not. So perhaps there is a lesson here, as in England where there are no pine martens, the greys are prolific breeders. So there is an argument against the barbarity of shooting and poisoning greys, and if, as so many believe, the greys MUST be controlled, how about a more humane and natural method that nature intended.. with re-introduction of predators. Just a thought!

So a few facts and figures on the greys and to wrap up, from a purely personal perspective I love these little guys, as I do almost every creature in nature other than those eight legged beasties that shall not be named and for which I have a deep and powerful phobia that borders on paranoia!

I could no more harm an animal deliberately than eat a McDonald's McRib (Once saw how they are made and let me just say... eeeuuuuuwwwww!!). They are small, cute, cuddly, furry, they photograph beautifully, have great personality and make me smile. They trust me enough to take food from my hand in parks, and I can't bare the though of ugly, hairy land owners sticking a shotgun in their face and blowing them away! I appreciate they can be a pest, a problem, a menace, that their PR managers might have a bit of a problem winning you over when they flay small chicks alive on your lawn or decimate the songbird population by stealing their eggs.... and perhaps there is a need to keep the population under control and try and re-establish the red population.....

Yep I get that....

I just hope we can solve the problem more humanely to create a peaceful coexistence of the reds and greys in different areas. A man can dream can't he.

Photograph taken at an altitude of Forty nine metres at 09:36am on Saturday 20th February 2021 off Blackheath Avenue and Charlton Way in the grounds of Greenwich Park, one of the Royal Parks of London situated in Greenwich, South East London.

Here we see, Sciurus Carolinensis (Eastern Gray Squirrel or Grey Squirrel), a tree squirrel native to North America and first introduced to the UK in the 1870's. Though it was largely responsible for the decimation of our own native red squirrel population, those are now on the increase and found in certain parts of the UK including Scotland. The Greys are still an ecologically essential natural forester regenerator.

Gamba grass (Andropogon gayanus) is one of the most destructive invasive weeds in northern Australia, particularly across the Northern Territory. Originally introduced from Africa in the 1930s as a pasture grass, it grows far taller and denser than native vegetation, with plants reaching up to four metres high. Its rapid growth allows it to outcompete native grasses and plants, reducing biodiversity and altering the natural balance of ecosystems. This dominance has put pressure on native wildlife that rely on more open habitats and food sources, leading to long-term ecological changes.

One of the most dangerous impacts of gamba grass is its contribution to more intense and destructive bushfires. Unlike native grasses, which burn at lower intensities, dense stands of gamba grass produce up to eight times more fuel. This leads to hotter and faster-moving fires that are difficult to control, threatening homes, infrastructure, and human lives. These fires also damage native trees and habitats that would normally survive less intense burns, creating a cycle where gamba grass continues to spread after fire events while native species decline.

Economically, gamba grass also causes problems for landholders, governments, and communities. Managing infestations is costly, requiring chemical treatments, slashing, and ongoing monitoring. For pastoralists, while gamba grass was once valued as fodder, its long-term risks outweigh its benefits because it reduces overall land productivity and increases fire hazards. Local and state governments spend millions each year trying to control its spread, but it continues to advance into new areas. Left unchecked, gamba grass has the potential to fundamentally change northern Australia’s landscapes, making it one of the most serious environmental threats in the region.

Destructive Leadership: The Aftermath of the Tempest

A healthy leader–follower relationship relies on trust, respect, competency, and commitment to the organization. A leader has the power to influence and shape the employee’s job experience and the organizational culture. Destructive leaders, however, abuse their power by using coercion to manipulate for personal gain, and employ fear as a motivator. The negative impacts of a leader’s destructive behaviors are detrimental and painful to the followers in an organization, and the long-term impact on corporate culture can be costly. Followers are pivotal to the success of good and bad leaders. In Dr. Martin’s study on the Millennial generation as followers, she found they were adversely affected by destructive leaders. Specifically, they felt devalued, participated in unethical behavior induced by fear, lost faith in the organization because it implicitly condoned leaders’ bad behaviors, or chose to retaliate against these leaders. Destructive leadership will perpetuate until followers and organizations stop enabling the destructive behaviors and take action by educating, training, and empowering the workforce to be active participants.

A highly disproportionate Government taxation is forced on purchasers of a singled out long time publicly sold legal product ? A stifling, superfluous, unimaginable shocking Sin Tax on cigarettes ? The Maders street window in downtown Kentville is allowed to display Government gambling ads but not the product he's been selling for 50 years, and so he has instead revealed the huge Government Sin Tax currently being charged to the customer on his purchases of tobacco ? He was later ordered to take it down.. www.flickr.com/photos/74039487@N02/9344935900

When legally purchasing a tobacco product you are now charged a Government Sin Tax at a proportional rate equivalent to over 4 times more to that charged on alcohol even though the alcohol product is far more destructive and far more costly to society ? The extreme bias and obvious discrimination against this one singled out legal product is the direct result of years of one-sided single product only Government lobbying by those who despise smoking but do not appear to have a problem with any of the other more harmful bad habits such as smoking marijuana, alcohol, junk food, obesity, or gambling ? Over the years there has been a lot of misinformation and gaslighting submitted by radical tobacco haters in order to stack their extremely biased arguments against one particular legally sold product that they don't like ? This single product lobby has resulted in a severe over-taxation now being levied on the unfortunate paying customer ? Does this extremely unfair Sin Tax situation caused by biased and unproven radical theories constitute a form of harassment and consumer fraud against an honest paying customer ? A Class action tax recovery suit and application for a fair share of the recent 24 billion dollar tobacco reclamation suit to be returned to the customer is being considered to compensate consumers for their financial loss due to extreme over taxation charges ? www.flickr.com/photos/74039487@N02/52649460406/in/datepos...

May 31, 2023 - Canada has created a brand new Cabinet position called Minister of health and Addictions, and Carolyn Bennett has started off with yet another repeated attack on tobacco by ordering that 50 additional dire warning messages ( 25 in French and 25 in English) must be placed on or within the cigarette package that is already overcrowded with many dire warnings and graphic pictures ? This is getting interesting ? First they favor alcohol products by giving them a generous 4 times the Sin Tax break over tobacco products, and then they create and pass legislation that legalizes and enables smoking cannabis, and then they create more legislation in Bill C-218 that will open the flood gates to enable legal at home and mobile phone sports parlor betting and casino gambling as never before seen or imagined in Canada - And then after aiding, abetting and enabling all of these social vices through new Liberal legalization, they will then create a Cabinet position called the Minister of mental health and addictions, and her first order of business is to once again go after tobacco while ignoring and never mentioning sports parlor betting, on-line gambling, marijuana or alcohol ?

Meanwhile the number 50 also just happens to be the same number of new at-home on-line gambling las vegas style gambling casinos and sports betting parlors that have quickly opened for business in Canada following this same Liberal Government's recently enacted Bill C-218 ?

'Why don't we just blame everything on smoking ? '

Stats Can, October 16, 2017 - The Conference Board of Canada says that although actual smokers have decreased dramatically in numbers, deaths and health care costs attributed to smoking are still increasing dramatically ? They explain that the reason for the unusual paradox may lie in the way they compute statistics . The calculations include all lifetime sickness and negative health problems (both physical and mental) ever incurred by the smoker in their entire lifetime even if they quit and were a non smoker ? And so, even if you smoked at one time or another in life and then quit, all health issues and illnesses experienced over your entire lifetime will be blamed by them on smoking and seen by them as being caused by smoking ? And so, for example, If an ex smoker dies naturally at say age 80, his death and all of his lifetime sickness and negative medical issues even if a non smoker for 50 years are counted by them as caused by smoking ? www.cbc.ca/news/business/smoking-economic-cost-1.4357096

Desperate anti tobacco lobbyists stoop to play the race card and weaponize the common cigarette ? In nonsensical lobbying they portray menthol cigarettes as a racist weapon specifically invented, manufactured and distributed to harm black smokers in America ? And as a direct result of such ridiculous propaganda being gaslighted to Americans, a long time freedom of choice and a guaranteed right has now been taken away from many citizens after menthol smokes were banned from sale in the USA similar to Canada ? read "How the tobacco industry targeted Black Americans with menthol smokes" www.npr.org/2022/04/29/1095291808/tobacco-industry-target...

Why do they always place high priority only on the smoking habit only and why do they hide and never mention the many other bad habits ? Or has a biased radical opinion gradually become the politically correct one ? It is noticed that they they never show any such radical opinion against pot, gambling, obesity or alcohol ? Global news 2023 - It seems strange that although smoking and smokers are way down, Rob Cunningham's Canadian Cancer Society says deaths per year caused by smokers are way up ? They also claim that 1 in 3 cancer cases in Canada are still being caused by these same smokers ? Given that in the last 10 years the actual number of smokers has gone down by half, it was interesting when Cunningham and the Minister of Health said recently that in 2022 there were a whopping 46,000 deaths related to smoking ? This is 10,000 or 30% more than it was 10 years ago in 2011 when there were only 36,000 deaths reported caused by smokers even though there were twice as many smokers smoking then ? And so the 2022 figures don't make any sense ? The obsessed by one product only, tobacco hating, radical social activist and lawyer Rob Cunningham, ( and some World Leaders ) want to establish and enforce a form of social control that will allow Governments the right to place lifetime restrictions pertaining to certain legal publicly sold products (as chosen by them), and then segregate and restrict some citizens from access to the these products without having to ask then for approval, permission or consent, and place state monitoring on these segregated individuals to insure mandatory compliance is met on the lifetime probationary orders that were forced on them at birth by their Government ? globalnews.ca/video/10194704/tobacco-free-generation-the-...

Or, what if they spin : You're 'good' if you drink but You're 'great' if you safe drink, or you're 'good' if you smoke cigarettes but You're 'great' if you safe smoke only this many cigarettes, or you're 'good' if you smoke pot but you're 'great' if you only smoke this many grams per day ? ref, "All those sports betting ads you're seeing,, It's illegal says the Alberta gaming commission ?" www.cbc.ca/player/play/2302654019728

'It's never enough' and 'we're never ever satisfied' seems to be the standard in the never ending, blinkers on, one-product only, singularily focused attack on a social product they don't approve of, but on the other hand they always overlook and will never mention the incredible progress, innovation and continual expansion of other worse social habits (or vices) such as alcohol, pot, gambling, etc etc. that are all, while under their watch, enjoying unprecedented growth, expansion, profit and success ? www.cbc.ca/player/play/2302654019728

During the gold rush in California the Placer gold was found quickly. While miners looked for the Mother Lode, the source of the gold washing down from outcrops of massive gold veins.

The quick fix was to start hydraulic mining. Using monstrous water jets called monitors. they washed away the alluvial deposits from ancient riverbeds. It worked and huge areas of the mountains were destroyed. The runoff was killing off the fisheries and wiping out much of the agriculture in the lower valleys. They finely banned this type of mining. These eroded hills are what is left of the malakoff diggings in Northern California near the town of North Bloomfield.

"All that which seems destructive is but a phase in the process of constructive change. All that which is loosely called creation and annihilation is really transformation. That which seems new is but old matter, old thought, old spirit, old life, old hate, old evil, old errors, in new forms, new births of manifestation.

There are no contradictions in nature's laws. Harmony is the element that binds them all into one law- the Law of Evolution. Since there is no destruction of matter, energy, force, or principle, and no creation of this from what has not always existed "from the beginning", all is eternal, immortal. Hence, even the body of man in its elements, the spirit of life in its essence, the soul of man in its consciousness, are eternal and immortal. There must be a law of evolution- change- new form for the mind, character, personality, and soul of man, as there is for the body of man. Coincident with the progressive evolution of man's body in the ages of the past has been the progressive evolution of the soul of man.

Character is fate! Certainly, as we build our character in the now, we decree our fate in the future. The forcefulness Every experience in life, every incident consciously realized- and many of which we are unconscious, form a part of molding personality. We are not only now what we think, but we will become that which results from our thinking. We are dealing daily and hourly as we have sown. Each day we become, mentally, spiritually, and physically what we have made ourselves. Hence, we are forever working out our own salvation or damnation, independent of the subtle influences of heredity, and independent of any predestined course in life.

Man possesses the power to choose. Free will is a fundamental factor of his highly developed consciousness. But as he chooses, so must he abide. The responsibility rests with him. Man's life is an endless battle between urge and decision. Man is motivated by urge, he is free to decide and he becomes what he thereby decrees. Such is the principle, the true law of fatalism. The responsibility rests not in some blind law of chemical action and reaction, nor with a jealous, vengeful God" -H. Spencer Lewis

County town of Buckinghamshire, large and sprawling, with a destructive road system around which new brash buildings have arisen. We parked in a multistorey car park, on the third floor and travelled UP two floors to get out by walking over a bridge, through a huge recent shopping centre and out into a little oasis of streets in the old town where St Mary's church is sited, all on the same level as that fifth floor bridge.

Large and cruciform, mainly C13, grouped around a central tower with a picturesque recessed leaded clock stage with gothic open parapet and pinnacles, and short further recessed spire. The approach is to the south transept, the main entrance. Many trees make exteriors problematic. On entering there was a pervasive smell of coffee (although my friend got bacon!). The west end has a newish gallery and a dais with tables and chairs serving a cafe which is sited in the south-west corner of the south aisle and also fills the south porch. In this sea of pine boarding sits the Norman font; I was surprised that it didn't have a flat cover with "bar stools" around it. Olympic banners hang from the nave roof obstructing the view east, although the view was better from the gallery. Gorgeous west window by O'Connor. The north aisle has dome comfy armchairs and some medieval stalls ejected from elsewhere, and also a lovely baroque altar table among the clutter. The north transept has two good monuments, a cusped triangular recess with an alabaster knight, and a standing canopied monument with kneeling figures of mother and daughter complete with the original railings. Here too a Norman pillar piscina (not mentioned at all in the BofE) and a medieval cope chest. EE chancel, although east and south wall are entirely Victorian by the restorer Scott. There is an outer chapel east of the south transept (C14 with rich sedilia and a collection of memorials which seemed resited here) and an odd large square space to the west with a tall central wooden column supporting the roof. The inner south chapel has been converted into an office for a local charity which is based in the church, and has a stone screen filling the arch with a reset window.

I quite enjoyed my visit, if not the smell of stale coffee, apart from the awful staged cafe area at the west end and the poorly judged inclusion of the font here. However at least it was laid out as a church when I called, my friend recalled seeing badminton nets strewn across the nave on a previous visit. However it is obviously a well-used building, and an open one.

However, this area isn’t special in that regard. The massive chemtrailing is going on across the USA (and other countries), as evidenced in abundance on FlickR and many other sites. This incredible not-so-secret Government program, which itself is expensive and dangerous, spoils not only blue skies, but poisons our air, water and soil to unknown levels. Regardless of the purpose, weather control/weather as a weapon/mind control, it really amounts to a crime against humanity in my opinion.

In response, I have posted thousands of full-resolution images (15,000+!), documenting the overwhelming evidence of this crime on Flickr:

www.flickr.com/photos/133042043@N04/albums

I have additional Chemtrail videos posted on:

www.youtube.com/user/BlueRidgeParkway

And to help generate interest, further study and assist in research, I am designating all my chemtrail pictures uploaded to Flickr (under “Chem Trailchaser”) as CC0 — Creative Commons Zero.

This removes my copyright and releases them into the Public Domain, which means that any of my photos designated CC0, can be used, without restriction or attribution, for any use. Isn’t that awesome? So please… download, copy, backup, mirror, share, use and improve as many of these photos as you can! Thanks for looking - Chem

My friend Tiph did this to my journal while we were both very drunk.

You could blame the problems these trains have suffered over their years of service on this young gremlin. Destructive. Dark. Alluring. Evil.

War is the most destructive and pitiless of all human activities. And yet the experience of war has a profound and strangely compelling effect on those who fight. Combat kills, maims, and terrifies, but it can also reveal the power of brotherhood and a selfless sense of purpose. It’s an experience that changes soldiers, and those changes last a lifetime. Young men in combat inevitably confront killing. They take life away from others and in so doing breach one of the most fundamental moral values of their society, often with long-term consequences.

The Dendrobium beetle (Stethopachys formosa) is one of the most destructive orchid pests. Fortunately, it has a taste for Dendrobium orchids only and rarely touches other genera. The native to Australia only beetle, has been observed in Northern NSW, Queensland and Northern Territory.

From The Wigan Observer & District Advertiser, 21 August 1901:

“A BIG BLAZE AT BILLINGE: DESTRUCTIVE FIRE AT THE BISPHAM HALL BRICKWORKS. A destructive fire broke at the Bispham Hall Brickworks, Billinge Higher End, sometime during Saturday evening [17 August], resulting in much damage to the buildings and plant. A telegram was received at the Wigan Borough Police Station at twenty minutes to seven at night that a fire was raging at the works, and the fire bell was at once rung, and the fire brigade turned out with the tender and steamer “Hillton”, under command of the Chief-constable Mr G Hardy. The scene of the conflagration is some four or five miles from Wigan, and on Saturday night the roads were in a very bad condition in consequence of the recent wet weather, so that the brigade had a most trying task and had a rough time of it in attempting to get to the place. The night was dark, and the atmospheric conditions were not of the best, and the horses yoked to the fire engine were exhausted before the destination was reached, so that a fresh relay had to be obtained en route. This occasioned some little delay, but with the greatest despatch possible the brigade pushed on to the place where the fire was raging with such a good start. On arrival three jets were brought into play, and the steamer continued pouring this stream of water upon the flames for about an hour. The flames had had such a start, however, that with all the efforts of the brigade little more than the machinery was saved. The fire, it is stated, was first discovered by the watchman, Edward Ashcroft, about half past six in a shed used for the purpose of drying bricks. The watchman at once informed the manager, who telegraphed for the Wigan Fire Brigade. The tender was the first to arrive, but through some little mistake did not come upon the scene until about a quarter past nine. In the meantime no efforts had been spared to try to master the fire. Water had been thrown upon the flames by means of buckets, and hose pipes from the neighbouring colliery had been brought into play. The chief danger was seen to be in the probability that the flames would spread to adjoining buildings, which contained valuable machinery, and the efforts of the workers were directed towards preventing this. By the time the Wigan engine got into play the fire had been got in hand, and with the larger force it was extinguished in about an hour. A number of plans and other valuable documents in the surveyor's office were destroyed. The total damage is estimated at about £1500, but this is partly covered by insurance. The fire is supposed to have arisen through a projecting piece of timber catching fire. The brickworks is the property of Mr James Marsden JP of Wigan. The Wigan Fire Brigade got back to headquarters about half past one on Sunday morning.

An eye-witness of the scene says that telephonic messages were without delay despatched to Pemberton and Wigan, and Inspector Harlow said several of his men were quickly on the spot, and assisted the many volunteer workers who were by that time at the place, and who, with the aid of water pumped by a donkey engine from the reservoir, succeeded in preventing the flames from spreading to the more important portion of the works, in which was a large quantity of valuable machinery. Shortly after eight o'clock part of the Wigan Fire Brigade arrived with reel and pipes, in charge of the Chief-constable, but as there was no force their appliances were useless and the men with their buckets persistently kept the fire from spreading. Meanwhile the fire engine “Hilton” was expected every minute, and a couple of fresh horses were despatched to meet the engine, but through some error they had taken the wrong road and travelled round Windy Arbour (Winstanley), a distance probably of three miles out of their correct route. At the bottom of Slackey Brow the horses were completely exhausted, and it was necessary requisition two other horses, which were supplied by Mr John Smith, farmer, of Hill House Farm, Winstanley, and the brigade were then enabled to resume their journey. On arrival near Orrell Station, two other heavy horses were attached as leaders, and with their assistance the scene of the fire was reached at a quarter past nine. To get near the reservoir it was necessary to take the engine through a farmyard, and along a temporary road, newly made with soft ashes, and in the dark the engine well nigh turned over, the off wheels sinking to the axle bars. After a short rest by the four horses, and an energetic push by about thirty men, the engine was extricated, and at half-past nine safely entrenched on the banks of the reservoir. Steam had then to be got up, a process which occupied no less than twenty minutes, and it was exactly 9.50 when the Wigan Brigade commenced their work in earnest to completely extinguish what was left of the destructive power and which had, in the interval of nearly four hours, completely destroyed the building, which was mostly of timber and corrugated iron, and included the offices and a valuable lot of plans. The buildings were only partially covered by insurance, and the damage could scarcely then be estimated.”

At a meeting of the Wigan County Borough Watch Committee on 10 October 1901 “a letter was read from Mr James Marsden tendering his thanks for the services of the Fire Brigade at Bispham Hall Colliery”. Of course this did not deter the Committee from billing Mr Marsden for the Brigade's services, “including the claims for horse hire”.

The above image is a still from a 1902 Mitchell & Kenyon short entitled “Turn Out of the Wigan Fire Brigade”. The 2-minute film (which also features the Brigade's other Greenwich Pattern steam engine, a 750-gallon model named “ffarington”) can be viewed here.

Quadralectic Architecture - Marten Kuilman (2011), p. 766ff:

4. The fourth type of ideal city conceptions is the practical. The people, who are ready to build them, maintain the most realistic attitude towards the ideal city. Their place in the typological chart is astride the horizontal line (see fig. 10; IV). Nieuwenhuyze followed, in his builder’s approach of the ideal city, an oppositional course: the left side forms the destructive, dysfunctional and disintegrational part of the scale (anarchism) and the right side stands for consolidation and construction in a functional setting. The situation is rather black and white here, while history gives sufficient examples of realistic designers with a wider point of view.

The Scottish biologist and innovative thinker Patrick Geddes (1854 - 1932) is mentioned by van Nieuwenhuijze (1966; p. 128) as the father of modern town and country planning. His ‘Charting of Life’ (published in 1927) consisted of four steps: Acts – Facts – Thoughts (Dreams) and Deeds. These entities were placed in a swastika-type of cross with a 9 x 9 division, not unlike the Chinese division of the ideal city. Some (undated) sketchy material of his thinking process is given in an informative book about Geddes by Volker WELTER (2002).

An analysis of Geddes’ ideas points to dualism rather than higher division thinking, as the (swastika) cross and four-fold division suggest. At best, it is a double two-fold affair – which is still ‘higher’ than a pure oppositional way of thinking. Geddes puts – in particular in his later ‘Notation of Life’ (published in 1949) - the vita activa against the vita contemplativa. The lower half is the in-world of both an individual and a town, while the upper half represents their outer-world. This change of mind represented a move from the individual to the collective (fig. 633). His (linear) approach started with a simple practical life (1), moved to a simple mental life (2), then further into a full inner life (3) and ended into a complete effective life (4). Geddes brought some interesting vistas of the human position in life, but he was unable to get rid of an oppositional approach.

Frank Lloyd Wright (1867/1869 – 1959; research by his biographer Henry-Russell HITCHCOCK revealed that his birthday was two years earlier than Lloyd Wright self indicated; see also an article by HINES, 1967) was the American equivalent of an architect, who searched for the ideas behind the ideal city. He found solutions in the selective use of technical achievement (of the ‘old’ order) and used them in the new order. Increased mobility (the motor car) brought a new element in city planning, for good and worse. Rent had to be abolished, because it made man to a slave. Pleasure in work and leisure became the dictum for the free citizen.

Brasilia (Brasil), Islamabad (Pakistan), Chandigarh (India) and Canberra (Australia) are examples of ideal cities, which were realized in the second half of the twentieth century. The cities had certain socio-political features in common, of which a cry for identity was probably the most obvious. An extensive literature on these cities exists, mainly written in the aftermath of their foundation. They are still a reference point in more recent publications on urbanism. The quadralectic approach will try to point out the types of division thinking, as caught in the visible reality of these urbanizations.

James HOLSTON (1989) gave an anthropological critique of Brasilia as a ‘modernist city’, which was inspired by (hidden) political ideas. His ‘human’ (political) approach offers a good insight into the mental position of the decision makers – although no reference to division thinking was made. The conception of Brasilia in the 1950’s as a utopian urban planning project provided – for those able to distinguish the importance of division thinking in decision making – a spectacular display of communication at work. All the elements of interaction, from the initial barren land (I), the ideas about a beginning (II), its subsequent execution under the architect Oscar Niemeyer (III) and its ongoing evaluation (IV), are present.

The ‘Master Plan of Brasilia’ - as brought forward in a State-sponsored design competition in 1957 - was sketched by Lucio Costa. The presentation by Costa was seen as a masterful brincadeira or ‘jest’ or almost a joke. Five of the six voting members of the jury praised ‘the unity of artistic conception’ and the ‘Idea for a National Capital’. The plan consisted of three structural elements: the crossing of two axes, two terraced embankments and a platform. The equilateral triangle is the area called Plano Piloto and forms the core of the capital. It is in strong contrast to the originally unplanned satellite cities around it.

The form of the plan was also identified as a bird, butterfly or airplane, but that did not seem to be Costa’s initial intention. The cross (four-fold) was brought back to the three-fold (triangle), then to the embankment (two-fold) and finally to the platform-idea (unity?). These four elements might have a hind of a (reversed) quadralectic sequence, but this suggestion might be too far fetched. Costa submitted his proposal on five medium-sized cards with fifteen freehand sketches and a brief statement of twenty-three pages.

The city’s orientation is roughly aligned with the cardinal directions. Costa pointed to the ‘sign of the Cross’ as the primal and archetypal inspiration. Holston refers to the earliest pictorial representation of the (Egyptian) idea as a city in the form of a cross in a circle and to RYKWERT (1976) and the auguration over the templum.

Costa was not too explicit about the actual objectives of the plan, which aimed at a national renovation. The idea of revolutionary intentions became a hidden agenda ‘smuggled into the plan in a cloak of mythology about ancient cities and sacred planning techniques’ (HOLSTON, 1989; p. 75). The Modernists of the (early) twentieth century believed that people living in certain types of architecture would adopt habits associated with the type of building. Architecture could, in their realistic view, be an instrument of social change.

The superquadra (superblocks) fitted in the collective housing ideas - in particular by Le Corbusier and the Russian Constructivists - which aimed at a reduction of the role of private property in favor of collective facilities. Therefore, the design of such buildings in Brasilia pointed, according to Holston, to a program of social change in favor of collectivism and was critical to capitalism. Costa himself referred to the design of the superquadra’s as a means against an ‘undue stratification’ of society.

The nonpresence of social life – which was still an austere characteristic of Brasilia when I visited the place in 2004 – avoids extravaganzas, either in the positive form of fiestas and carnivals or in the negative sense of unrest and rioting. Any authoritarian government welcomes this situation. Or, like Holston (p. 133) put it fairly strong, ‘the street is the bastion of a corrupt civic order of stagnant public and private values, imposed on the city through an architecture of antiquarian monuments, chaotic streets, decadent ornament, and unsanitary dwellings’.

The ‘Ideal Cities’ of India and Pakistan, which were realized some half a century ago, can be placed in the mental-religious setting of the population of these countries. The cyclic nature of the Hindu world view means that any ‘progress’ causes problems (COLENBRANDER, 2003). The European culture searches for new forms, whereas the creative people of the Asian subcontinent use old forms repeatedly. Hinduism is – from a Western point of view – a religion of defeat and stagnation. However, this time-bound impression might change when quadralectic thinking, including a cyclic awareness, becomes more widespread in the last stages of the European cultural visibility (1950 – 2250).

The Islam (of Pakistan) is a linear affair with a strong sense of unity. This dedication can be traced back to their lower form of division thinking. The Islam was, in essence, a revolt against the higher type of division thinking of Christianity in its years of formation. Early Christianity looked for a compromise between the Judaic and Hellenic point of view (DELISLE BURNS, 1947), which resulted in the acceptation of the doctrine of the Trinity - or three-division. It should also be noted that the initial message of Christ – based on giving love and living in peace - was born under the historical influence and within the context of the Roman cultural period in the fourth part of its Third Quadrant (1 – 125 AD; see p. 126; fig. 88).

Mohammed and his followers in the seventh century AD believed in one undivided God and saw in the Christian ‘solution’ of the Trinity a form of polytheism. The message of Islam aims at a form of ‘oneness’, which can be reached by reducing the number of divisions in the initial way of thinking. The ‘heresies’ of the eastern Churches, like the Arians and Monophysites – of which hardly anybody understands now the crux of their learning - were attempts to compromise with the Semitic conception of the unity of God. In the end, all their efforts had to do with a ‘struggle’ for a particular form of division thinking – of which the importance for the communication of God and men was well understood at the time. Every type of division thinking tends to have its own god(s) and beliefs.

The ‘oldest’ of the four twentieth century realizations of an Ideal City is the capital of Canberra in Australia. Again, a politically motivated need of urgency to establish a national identity was the main reason for the project. Competition between the existing colonial capitals of Sydney (New South Wales) and Melbourne (Victoria) could not allow the other to become the capital of the Commonwealth, so the idea of the founding an entirely new capital was born. A site was chosen at the end of the year 1909 after ten years of struggles and an international competition for its design was initiated in May 1911. A year later Walter Burley Griffin (1876 – 1937) won the competition.

Griffin and his wife Marion Mahony (1871 – 1961) were accomplished American landscape architects. Marion had worked with Frank Lloyd Wright in his studio in Chicago from 1895 and Walter joined in 1901. The Griffin’s married in 1911 and they were still on their honeymoon when the word of the Canberra competition reached them. Marion produced the final drawing in the last weeks of 1911 and the papers were rushed to the last train that could meet the last boat for Australia (VERNON, 2002).

The initial ‘Beaux-Arts’ design of Canberra was full of symbolic details. Peter MULLER (1976), in his ‘W.B. Griffin Memorial Lecture’ on the centenary of Griffin’s birth, pointed to the esoteric nature of Griffin's design. Other commentators, like Graham PONT (2003), elaborated on the ‘Pythagorean’ aspects of Griffin’s work (at the Capitol Theatre, Melbourne) with the tetraktys as a leading principle. The ‘proof’ that their design was directly related to the fundamental proportions or harmonies of the musical scale (1:2, 2:3, 3:4) is rather thin, but a feel and sympathy for regular patterns (crystal types) cannot be denied. Later in his life, Griffin got attracted to the anthroposophic movement (initiated by Rudolf Steiner) and moved to India, where he got a number of architectural assignments. He died in Lucknow (India) in 1937 and Marion Mahony Griffin returned to Chicago, where she died in 1961.

Some words should be said here over the relation between esoteric ideas and its possible resonance in the world of quadralectic architecture. There is in the European cultural history, away from the mainstream, a permanent current of non-scientific and semi-religious knowledge, which keeps the minds of its adherents occupied. The roots are generally found in the Greek philosophical thoughts of Pythagoras with his references to number. The Spanish philosopher Raymond Lull (1232 – 1316, see p. 224) and his followers created an extensive body of works based on esoteric ideas. The knowledge of the Cabbala added to the mystical character of their teachings. The German philosopher Gottfried Leibniz (1646 – 1716) was still able to understand Lull’s ‘Ars combinatori’’, since his dissertation of 1666 was on this subject.

An influx of ‘secret traditions’ took place after the unity of the Roman Catholic Church collapsed in the early sixteenth century and people were searching for new spiritual anchors. The Book of Hermes (Pimander), Hermes Trismegistus (the thrice-great Hermes, combined with the Egyptian god Toth) and other ancient mysteries pointed for the ‘lost’ souls of the Renaissance to beliefs that could hold a promise for salvation, just like Christianity. The Rosicrucians (with their Manifestos dating from the early seventeenth century) and the Freemasons (from the early eighteenth century) carried the complex of ‘hermetic’ ideas forwards into the nineteenth century. When the real treasures of the Egyptian cultural presence came within reach of European explorers at that time, it resulted in a largely uncomprehended spiritual knowledge of Egypt, which acted as a goldmine of occult symbolism.

The anthroposophical movement of the Austrian Rudolf Steiner (1861 – 1925) and the theosophical society of the American occultist Madame Helena Blavatsky (1831 – 1891) were digging in the same quarry of human ‘consciousness’. Blavatsky’s search for ‘the anciently universal Wisdom-Religion’ has since found appeal by many people. Steiner’s solutions for ‘Die Rätsel der Philosophie (1914/1968) still find followers. The motivation of the supporters of the mysterious and super-natural might be found in the fear of ‘the invasive reach of technology and rationalization into everyday life with a subsequent diminution of custom, religion and experience as valid sources of knowledge’ (HENDERSON, 1998).

The merits of these movements can be placed in a quadralectic context, i.e. as expressions of forms of division thinking. Pythagoras was right in the end: it is all about numbers. Not in the numerological sense as many people believe, but as the importance of the primary choice of division thinking. The essence of any communication is contained in the width of the initial division and its visibility expressed in a shift-number. This (quadralectic) statement is the real meaning of Pythagoras’ numbers. The various type of divisions – up to five are operational within the reach of a human application – are different systems of communication. They possess a particular type of visibility, which is derived from an internal shift of its members.

Yearly fires, often started by men to hunt rats, is a yearly destructive force in many parts of Africa. Aloe cameronii and Euphorbia cooperi are clearly not fire-resistant. Here Mount Zhinhamapiri close to Chimoio town in Mozambique after one of such fires.

Now something highly topical. ;-)

A little destructive series: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

Number 3 is my personal favorite.

Buzzing back to life like freeze-dried flies.

this particular block house is in absolutely great condition, 117 years after. kept away from the ever present destructive monster in man/woman unkind. most of its internal wooden decks/planking are in great shape. many thanks to a farmer that allowed me to document this

baie dankie jannie!

photographer's note-

blockhouses were built by the british from 1899-1902 during the anglo-boer war to protect the railway bridges from

boer attacks

the stone is local while the remaining materials were imported from britain. some were constructed entirely from concrete

the block houses could house 20 men with water, munitions and supplies stored on the lower floor. The living quarters were on the middle floor and was accessible by a retractable ladder and the top floor was the lookout deck.

only about 1000 of these blockhouses were built and few have survived

they were very effective barriers and few saw any action.

end of note

The building of blockhouses started in March 1900 to protect the railways, in particular the railway bridges. Many of these were impressive structures of stone, with corrugated iron roofs, standing three storeys high and enetred by an external wooden stair in the form of a drawbridge.

These were effective but also time consuming and costly to build. This led to more modest style structures being built in the form of rectangular, signle-storey buildings with a stone wall mounted upon which was a coorugated iron upperwork, this was pierced with loopholes and double skinned, the void between being filled with stones to block rifle fire. Even these structures were slow to construct and a solution to these was sort by Kitchener, he turned to Major Spring R Rice, Officer Commanding 23 Field Company, Royal Engineers based as Middleburg, Transvaal.

Major Rice designed two new forms of blockhouse, the first octagonal and the second, the one that became known as the 'Rice Blockhouse'. circular. This was made of of corrugated iron filled with a stone-filled, loopholed shield above and an earth-filled caisson below, the whole being topped off with a stone roof. When ideally sited the door was blocked approached under cover of a trench and the hillock on which it sat and the lower part of the walls was covered with loose stones for added protection. It was said that trained men could erect such a blockhouse in a single day and the record for erecting one was a mere three hours. It was usually garrisoned by a non-commissioned officer and six men. Outside the immediate area was protected by barbed wire and a barbed wire fence stretched between one blockhouse and the next, hung out with tin cans to make as much noise as possible when disturbed.

The fortifications in cluded numerous other modesl, often ad-hoc designs fashioned to meet the requirements of the location and adjusted to make the best of available materials, but the Rice design was the one that sprang up in huge numbers. By September 1901 the Western Railway blockhouse line from De Aar to Lobatsi, north of Mafeking, was complete, as was the Central Railway system from Naauwpoort to Pretoria and the Delalgoa Railway to the border of Koomati Poort. In addition a box west of Johannesburg and Pretoria and a line south-east to Standerton and Newcastle were operational. In the next three months the line north from Pretoria to Pietersberg was built, the Western Railwasy cover extended south-west to beaufort West and numerous additions made in Transvaal and was now Orange Colony. By May 1902 a line of blockhouses ran from Beaufort West right across Cape Colony to the Atlantic coast and yet more lines had been added elsewhere. By the end of the war there were 3,700 miles (6,000km) of lines with some 8,000 blockhouses manned by 50,000 British troops and 16,000 Africans.

I have additional Chemtrail videos posted on:

And to help generate interest, further study and assist in research, I am designating all my chemtrail pictures uploaded to Flickr (under “Chem Trailchaser”) as CC0 — Creative Commons Zero.

This removes my copyright and releases them into the Public Domain, which means that any of my photos designated CC0, can be used, without restriction or attribution, for any use. Isn’t that awesome? So please… download, copy, backup, mirror, share, use and improve as many of these photos as you can! Thanks for looking - Chem

Background Information:

Because of its wave-like properties, light can experience interference. Interference is when waves combine or cancel out, depending on the color of the light. The color of the light, or wavelength of the light, will experience either constructive interference or destructive interference. Naturally, constructive interference is the addition of waves, while destructive interference is when waves cancel each other out. Interference is the reason we see colors reflecting from bubbles. Soap bubbles have many colors of light, meaning each different color is a different wavelength. White light is the presence of all colors (again with different wavelengths). When these waves come together the result is either a dark or light band, otherwise known as a fringe. These fringes caused by interference appear as bands of color. This is why when white light is shown on bubbles, some wavelengths are combined to form brighter reflections, while other wavelengths cancel each other out completely. This is an example of both constructive and destructive interference. These two forms of interference go in different angles depending on the wavelengths of the light. Different colors will go in different directions. In soap bubbles, overlapping patterns by constructive interference are common because of the differences in wavelengths.

Photograph:

My photograph captures the phenomenon of interference as seen in the colorful reflections of the soap bubble. The picture was taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS without a flash or filters. The picture was taken at 3pm before the sun began to set. It was neither cloudy nor too bright. I captured this shot in my backyard after several attempts of getting the best lighting from the sun. The close-up of this shot captures the thin film interference phenomena.

Explanation:

The reason we see bands of color on soap bubbles, like the one in the picture, is because light is reflecting the top of the surface and interfering with light reflecting from the bottom of the surface. The reflecting light from the two surfaces creates swirling patterns of colors. These interference colors are produced as a result of the thickness of the layers of the soap bubble. As a result of the varying thickness in the bubble in the picture, the band colors are varying. The bubble’s thickness will change as time goes on which in turn changes the colors and swirling pattern they form. This bubble eventually lost thickness at the top while gaining thickness below, which ends in destructive interference.
