This building with the Florentine loggia is the former palais urbain built for Ignaz Graf von Törring-Jettenbach and also a former post office.
Originally built 1747 to 1754 in Rococo style for the above mentioned count Törring-Jettenbach, it was modified many times.
1835 to 1838 the Florentine loggia was added while at about the same time the building was made the main post office.
Mostly destroyed in World War II, the interior was not reconstructed. After the post office moved out in 2009 all not listed parts of the building were demolished, only the loggia with its arcades remained. Now there is upscale shopping and a café.

The Kinzua Bridge or the Kinzua Viaduct (pron.: /ˈkɪnzuː/[4] or /ˈkɪnzuː.ə/) was a railroad trestle that spanned Kinzua Creek in McKean County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The bridge was 301 feet (92 m) tall and 2,052 feet (625 m) long prior to its collapse in 2003.
The bridge was originally built from iron in 1882 and was billed as the "Eighth Wonder of the World", holding the record as the tallest railroad bridge in the world for two years. In 1900 the bridge was dismantled and simultaneously rebuilt out of steel to allow it to accommodate heavier trains

At Frederiksborg Castle (Danish: Frederiksborg Slot), which is a royal castle built in a northern Renaissance style, for the Danish king Christian IV. The main building of the castle was built 1602-1620 (replacing an older structure). For a long time it served as a royal residence, but it was almost completely destroyed in a fire 1859 (which spared only the chapel and audience chamber). The castle was restored, using old plans and drawings to give it its proper look - with generous donations made by J.C. Jabosen (who made a fortune founding the Carlsberg brewery), to turn it into a National Museum, which it still is to this day.
So yes, this is a 19th century vision of how a Renaissance ceiling should look like.
To love you is to lose, all sense of self,
Giving and losing any abundance of wealth,
It is losing the pieces that once made you whole,
It is giving all the diamonds, left only with Coal,
It is walking and running and dragging myself through,
It is struggling and failing when I once flew,
It is knowing I am wonderful, knowing I am kind,
Knowing things are around you, always to remind,
It is my smile knowing never, ever again,
Will you find a heart more true, never feel this pain,
It is flecks of a memory, the tune of a song,
The excitement of those nights not replicable or as strong,
I know you are damaged, beyond anything you you ever feared,
Own that damage and be strong, for strength is endeared
Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace.

After a fire destroyed the original lodge in the winter of 1962, the two original lifts were removed in the 1970s. The BC government funded a new lodge on the ridge and an aerial tramway to the mountaintop from the valley below.
In 1976, new ownership funded a second aerial tramway, built by Garaventa, known as the Red Tram or Super Skyride which is one on the right. The larger tram cars (for about 100 passengers) arrive at a separate top terminal building a short walk from the lodge. The older Blue Tram, on the left, is now mainly used to transport supplies directly to the lodge structure.
Holy Protection Monastery, Holosiivsky Desert – these are sketes of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra monastery, located in the forest on the southern outskirts of Kyiv.
The history of this place began in the 18th century, when Peter Mogila built there a temple to honor Johann the New (Sochavsky) and founded the suburban skete of the Lavra. The desert became the summer residence of the Kyiv Metropolitans.
In 1845, the St. Filaret (Amphitheatres) built a stone church with two chapels: Three Saints and Johann of Sočavo. In the years 1910-1912, a temple in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "The Life-giving Spring" was built. In addition to the temples, in Goloseevo there were summer house of the Metropolitans with the house church of St. Johann the Long-suffering, a hotel, the main household yard of the Lavra and other buildings.
Desert was abolished by the Soviet government in 1926, when all the temples were destroyed. In 1993 the monastery was opened again. In the same year, the relics of St. Alexis Holosiivsky of Kiev were found and the temple of Johann the Long-suffering was opened.

7 Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)

I use 'Sunsetting' because if you look on right side of the photo, they are building a new bridge to replace this beauty. The current bridge crosses between Lansing, IA over the river to Wisconsin.
As the year goes by - the view may be destroyed and eventually the bridge. (It is known as Black Hawk Bridge )
Lar city is one of the ancient cities in Fars ostan (province) - Iran, which was destroyed by an earthquake at 12:14 (UTC) on April 24, 1960. But a number of valuable old monuments of the city remained standing after the earthquake , and later some of them were restored

Tripping out and you say
The truth is out and I’m over sleeping
Time for me to go home
Cos I think I’ve had enough
Loosen with the shakes
Same fuckin' mistake
I can’t keep it straight
I’m at the bottom
And I let you destroy me, with a blunt scratch through my veins
And I watched you just take away everything
I keep trying to restore me, let it all just wash away
But I’m stuck in a place that I can’t escape

The AC DC 'Power Up' Concert.
November, 2025. Sydney.
Here's AC DC with 'Highway To Hell':
www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikFFVfObwss
So I attended the AC DC 'Power Up' concert at the Sydney (Accor) Olympic Stadium, at Homebush in western Sydney, last Friday 21st November, 2025, and then again on Monday, 25th November, 2025.
It was VERY loud but amazingly energetic. My two daughters were NOT at all impressed, arguing that Taylor Swift is far better and more popular. "Well," I argued back, "let's see who has sold more tickets, and which tickets sold the fastest?" So we looked at the Ticketek website and guess what? AC DC destroyed Taylor Swift for sales!!! "OMG," declared Miss 18, "there must be SO many old people in Sydney." See what I live with.

In 1672 when war was declared between the Dutch Republic and England, France, Münster, and Cologne, Bodegraven was just behind the Water Defense Line. The Water Line was inundated and formed a barrier to the advancing French troops. But during the winter the French could advance over the frozen polders to Meije and Zwammerdam. Before reaching Alphen aan den Rijn they could be repelled by the Dutch. Thaw had set in so the only retreat route was along the dike of the Oude Rijn. The French therefore came through Bodegraven and destroyed it. Afterwards, the fort Wierickerschans was built just east of the town. Bron: Wikipedia
