From an article about modern American furniture design, with awesome photos! From the July 1961 issue of Playboy Magazine.
This is a page of my history homework. Yes, I do happen to sit in my classes and do doodles of crazy designs and different shapes and sizes. You would never know this is homework unless you really examine the white areas!
These are my designs that I like and are used for this: www.flickr.com/photos/i_likey_pie/5771966423/in/photostream. These are the designs that I like and would most likely use. Please do not attempt to remove any of the watermarks. From left to right: Boy Scout, Civil War Union, ACU, Marine Combat, Marine uniform, Vietnam, Afrika Korps, British WWII, Desert Rats WWII, German WWII, German WWII with a strap, German WWII with pouches, German WWII with blackish grey pouches, American M43 WWII, and WWII USMC.
I picked up some designs casseroles on eBay this week... I've had my eye on this pattern for awhile, but haven't found an abundance of them around here.

Stumbled across this on our way to Baggy Point / Croyde beach today. It was featured on Kevin McClouds program “Grand Designs” . The original owner was a successful record producer with big ideas about demolishing the original bungalow on site and building his dream house for his family in its place. As with most of these people on the program, covid struck, the banks stopped lending money and material costs spiralled out of control. Ultimately it cost him his marriage and the house. Thankfully someone bought it and finished it to a stunning standard. It’s situated in a beautiful spot on the coast of Devon. I can’t help but feel sorry for the guy now, its absolutely stunning.

Ralph Waldo Emerson. The happiest man is he who learns from nature the lesson of worship.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca: On entering a temple we assume all signs of reverence. How much more reverent then should we be before the heavenly bodies, the stars, the very nature of God!
John Muir: All the wild world is beautiful, and it matters but little where we go, to highlands or lowlands, woods or plains, on the sea or land or down among the crystals of waves or high in a balloon in the sky; through all the climates, hot or cold, storms and calms, everywhere and always we are in God's eternal beauty and love. So universally true is this, the spot where we chance to be always seems the best.

Tolbain Designs 2
Start: Monday, March 01, 2010, 11:55:31pm
Done: Friday, March 05, 2010, 8:55:36pm
The 2nd installment to my now growing “Tolbain Designs”. Featuring more panels & somewhat cuter pictures of the adventurous Wolf Boy.
This one took longer, because of my enduring Xboxia, but took some time off from my precious “GEARS of WAR” Achievements just to do this Puppy. ;)
Here are the differences in each of the panels:
1.) Mowgli Sketches -part 2 panel 12
a- Human: The Action pic that I always liked is here. 8-) I redid the mouth & slightly did his right toe gap.
b- Werewolf: The mouth is different, of course, and readjusted the fingers on his left hand for both panels.
2.)Mowgli Sketches -part 2 panel 10
a- Human: Adjusted the eyes, mouth & nose, and STILL couldn’t think of what he could be holding in his hand.
b- Werewolf: Heh, heh, he looks kind of cocky and in a way, a little cute, attitude style.
3.)Mowgli Sketches -part 1 panel 7
a- Human: I didn’t do much to his face, but I reshaped his back & bottom a bit, so it wouldn’t look disoriented.
b- Werewolf: The muzzle was very challenging to do for this one. Could’ve made his tail just a bit longer.
4.)Mowgli Sketches -part 2 panel 6
a- Human: Boy, he looks Pissed. I kept the eyes, but adjusted the face & made the left hand a bit bigger.
b- Werewolf: Boy, he looks REALLY Pissed. The muzzle was not too rough to work with.
5.)Mowgli Sketches -part 2 panel 7
a- Human: Not much that I did, save for the face & the left foot I slightly gave more depth.
b- Werewolf: The shins were nice with me. So was the muzzle & the tail n’ stuff.
6.)Mowgli Sketches -part 5 panel 20
a- Human: That shoulder on the left side was a bit big, so I made it smaller. Not perfect, but all I can do.
b- Werewolf: I think I worked long enough on that muzzle there.
7.)Mowgli Sketches -part 2 panel 6
a- Human: Removing the long Mowgli, I had to draw out his upper back & shoulder & the spine line.
b- Werewolf: I had a REAL LONG time working/reworking at that tail. What a pain in Coccyx.
8.)Mowgli Sketches -part 8 panel 8
a- Human: Wow, he looks bored outta’ his skull. Anyways, redid his face/nose & that was it.
b- Werewolf: As you can see, I had to relocate the right arm & add/change some alterations to them.
9.)Mowgli Sketches -part 7 panel 10
a- Human: he looks guilty about something, as opposed to the werewolf one, where he looks dumbfounded.
b- Werewolf: Ugh, you have no idea how complicated it was to re-adjust those shins. He looks cute, too.
10.)Mowgli Sketches -part 4 panel 20
a- Human: He kinda looked a bit older in this, so I changed the jaw, neck, side & shoulders to make him younger.
b- Werewolf: Removed those Mutant 6th toes that were on there & extended the leg area & stuff.
That’s All, Folks. Say he looks cute as a puppy in his Wolf form & I will slay thee.

Our aprons come in these super cute boxes. I like to cover them with stickers to promote my shop and Etsy. The boxes are actually takeout boxes for food...which I thought was fitting.
We ship in the boxes, so everyone who handles these will hopefully take a closer look, out of curiosity if nothing else. :)

Brampton’s Chinguacousy Park is a wonderful place to take photos; we spent last Sunday exploring the greenhouse which is filled with exotic plants, the beautifully manicured flowerbeds in the surrounding gardens are full of colourful plants and trees.
The city has done a great job with the beatification of the core. I especially love the new glass building on George and Queen. The sky is reflected in it in so many very cool ways: sometimes it almost disappears in the reflected clouds.

Tolbain Designs 3
Start: Saturday, March 13, 2010, 11:38:52pm
Done: Thursday, March 25, 2010, 10:31:20pm
Well, this took a while longer. Mostly due to the fact that I had a bit of Xboxia to blame.
Too damn much “Batman: Arkham Asylum” on multiple non-online Xbox profiles.
That and my friend, ~pikaso45, finally bought “Modern Warfare 2” just 3 days before I started this piece, so we were playing a lot on Multiplayer & Special Ops.
Here are the differences in each of the panels:
1.) Mowgli Sketches -part 5 panel 1
a- Human: Redid the face & mouth a bit and slightly dawdled on the nails so they wouldn’t look too open.
b- Werewolf: I made this one look more ferocious, as well as reshaped his legs & feet.
2.)Mowgli Sketches -part 5 panel 3
a- Human: I made his left thumb longer, adjusted both feet & moved the ears as I did on ALL of these.
b- Werewolf: I like the angle on his face, I thought I did that one justice. The feet are a bit too small, but ah well.
3.)Mowgli Sketches -part 7 panel 2
a- Human: Redesigned only the face & pretty much left the rest of the body alone.
b- Werewolf: The way I made his legs & his walking looks a bit odd, but good enough for me.
4.)Mowgli Sketches -part 7 panel 3
a- Human: The feet was all the hard work I did on this panel. Easy pickins’ for me.
b- Werewolf: Reshaping the legs & feet was a bit fun to do, but also got complex at certain times.
5.)Mowgli Sketches -part 5 panel 14
a- Human: Getting the back right, after removing the hair, was a bit complex but not too much of a hassle.
b- Werewolf: The feet weren’t too hard to do, and I made sure that the tail came out of the base of the Coccyx, NOT at the base of the sacrum. Idiots.
6.)Mowgli Sketches -part 2 panel 3
a- Human: Took quite a while just to redo that head, but not as long as I thought it would.
b- Werewolf: Had to reshape both feet & put new angles on them. His tail should be a bit longer, though.
7.)Mowgli Sketches -part 1 panel 20
a- Human: Really adjusted a lot here; reshaped his back, redid the feet & toes and centered his eyes a bit.
b- Werewolf: Because his shins are shorter, his feet have to be at a different angle, for his heels to be up a bit.
8.)Mowgli Sketches -part 6 panel 1
a- Human: Did some retouches on the fingers & feet and recalibrated the eye space.
b- Werewolf: ARRGG!! Working on that left foot was a pain in the ASS!! The shape & angle alone took up all of my time.
9.)Mowgli Sketches -part 4 panel 27
a- Human: Touched up on the fingers & made the left foot longer as the ‘Mowgli’ version was too short footed.
b- Werewolf: I did this panel last. I didn’t have too many difficulties as I thought I would. Even doing the feet & tail were nice to me, as they weren‘t as complex as I thought.
10.)Mowgli Sketches -part 4 panel 10
a- Human: Reshaped the back on him & added more of the backline and did the shoulder blades
b- Werewolf: I took the most time with this one just lengthening & widening the feet, while the other ones; the back, shoulders & tail were a cinch. I also did this panel before the 9th panel.
That’s All, Folks. Say he looks cute as a puppy in his Wolf form & I will slay thee.

flat roof house designs, People build houses to live comfortably. Just to make sure a ‘roof’ is on their head, under which they can live happily ever after. So, a roof has been a major design consideration while scheming a building. In the ancient time people use timbers and in some areas grass to build houses. And astatine the beginning of the development of engineering design concepts, flat roof is the common roof structure. Flat roofs mean a flat or horizontal covering upon the house or building. Which usually make of re-enforced concretes? In some cases, CI sheets are also used. And it is the most common types of roof, which is used all over the world. The main cause is it is easy to build and economical compared to other types of roofs. There ar several types of flat roofs. Such as: Asphalt build up, EPDM, Modified bitumen, PVC membrane roofing, TPO, Coal-tar pitch build up roof etc. The main thing about the flat cap is that as it is horizontal, so there mustiness be slight inclination so that water can run off easily. And they main problem about a roof is its longevity and strength, with decreases if there is moisture. So, it should be build with such type of material that does not absorb water. But, there is still some job about flat ceiling which is, it may be effective in hot countries but, in cold countries where snow falls is regular it may be dangerous. Snow will deposit on the ceiling and ultimately results cracking and destructions. So, it is non a good idea of using or building flat cap cold countries. Because, then there need regular cleanup of the roofs and also other materials must need to be used so that, snow can’t make any harm. But, it is costly. That’s why in cold countries cap slops ar common. The benefits of the flat roofs are: Full room space can be used under the roof; the roof-top can be used for vegetation or just to sit and for walking place. Solar panels can also be placed easily. Flat roofs, need to be maintained regularly. If there is water than knackered it within 24-48 hours. After storm of heavy rain check the cap if there is any crack or other damage. Regular checking of roofs for deformities and cracks and repairing immediately ar moldiness be done. If right care and management can be taken than your cap will last long and you will be able to live under a safe ‘roof’.
