We had a great time at Designer Con this year. It was great to get to see so many friends and meet some new artists!
I definitely noticed more 'cute' mixed in with the monsters and street art this year. Next year I might be prepared enough to have some dolls with me.

She was so sweet, not even did she sit there with all of us quietly watching her paint, she explained her brush strokes and choice of paints she likes to work with.

I was really lucky to score most of the items that I wanted on my list but sadly I did miss out on a few due to the sheer amount of people attending the convention who bought the VIP tickets for the entire weekend. There must have been about 600 people in the VIP lines and then about 150 more in front of me and Cullen at the event in our lines. We got there super early but still the crowds were crazy and the set up in the convention space itself made absolutely no fucking sense. Some vendors didn't even have numbers so at times I didn't know where I was and I kept having to ask what number they were. It being so close to Disneyland did not help either, the parking situation was mayhem and so no free street parking anymore. 20 dollars just to park before you enter now and the security teams at the event were super strict and rude. Overall I think DesignerCon might be getting too big and sadly I did not enjoy the vibe this year although there was more space to walk around. EDIT: I am really happy with the items I did get so I'm not at all depressed on what I missed out, just in case I gave off that vibe. LOL
