Jede*r Teilnehmer*In bekommt als Dankeschön zwei kostenlose Tribünenkarten für die
Schull- un Veedelszöch oder für den Rosenmontagszug!
Bei diesem „Pen & Paper“-Hackathon entwickelst du analog und gemeinsam mit anderen Teilnehmenden Mockups, Scribbles oder Prototypen, um den Kölner Karneval mit neuen Ansätzen zu bereichern. Egal ob dein Thema Kulturvermittlung, Leitung von Menschenmassen, digitale Kommunikation oder Sicherheit ist, wir wollen Leute aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen zusammenbringen und anhand von spannenden Aufgabenstellungen neue Lösungsansätze erarbeiten, wie wir die Herausforderungen vor denen der Kölner Karneval steht, begegnen können.

A lot of car designers loved Hot Wheels when they were kids. Diaz-Serrano, who bought his first Hot Wheels car in 1968, still collects them today. He even has a set signed by Larry Woods, the legendary Mattel designer known as "Mr. Hot Wheels."
The Chevroletor is based on a combination of the 1957 Chevrolet Corvette SS and several speed record cars from the 1930s. Diaz-Serrano has models of both
The Chevrolet includes a wild V16 engine packed under than long hoodline. The version shown here is how the Chevroletor concept was shown at the 'Designers Challenge', but other colour and stripe combinations of this model are also produced by Hotwheels.

Pooky and I have been very busy learning lots of new chemistry. This is my last quarter of it, unfortunately, so Pooky wanted to share some of his fascinating discoveries.
Pooky: :O HELLO EVERYONE! I have been learning a lot about DNA and RNA! A lot of the structure seen here comes from sugar.
Scoopie: o_O Hi people! We are going to ignore Pooky for a while as he rants about this stuff. Chelsie! Come over here and look cute.
Chelsie: *cute smile* Hello people! The cuteness has arrived! Please, no photos.
Pooky: ..As a result of the Ruff degradation process, we can turn this sugar into ribose which is the sugar that makes up RNA and DNA! All of this is related to glucose by the length of the sugar chain or by the position of the hydrogens and oxygens! DNA even makes up our genes! All from the sugar in this vial! ...HEY! WHERE DID THE SUGAR GO?
Scoopie: It wasn't all that sugary.. You need to do better next time.. Also, if you spilled sugar on your jeans, you should change your pants...
Pooky: O_O YOU DRANK IT? It had all sorts of impurities! I didn't even get to run a spectrum to see the structure! >:(
Scoopie: Duhhh... How else would I have known that it wasn't very good? You took this much chemistry and you can't even make proper sugars? Geez... Just go get some sugar from the grocery store next time! >:(
