Popped along here the other day and it is a great place to visit. Lots of great exhibitions and a fantastic book shop. It covers: product, industrial, graphic, fashion and architectural design.

Nice couple of days in sunny London with some old friends. Archie showed us round his RCA group exhibition over in docklands.

These pencils are on sale at the Design Museum. They are made of extruded plastic: they bend slightly, are difficult to sharpen and the "lead" breaks and crumbles easily. They are the nastiest pencils available.

Through a wealth of printed and on-screen presentations, Jamie Hewlett, cult comic artist and co-creator of Gorillaz, produced a fiction-as-fact illusion of the band. His detailed storyboards and character profiles have brought to near-life the Gorillaz members- Murdoc, 2D, Russel and Noodle- and made the virtual group a real entity in the music industry.

Climatised Objects offers practical products that moonlight as life-saving devices. This buoyant dining room table is an ad hoc raft in the event of a flash flood. It has removable legs which convert into oars.
