Day 11: I wanted to try the opposite of my traditional depth of field and have the focus in the background. This is the bandstand in my local park.
She was smiling as were the people in the background. As I took several photos of our favorite Farmer's Market vendor I realized I cropped my shot too low but I think it still works.
This rose was just absolutely perfect and I couldn't miss the opportunity to capture it. I used a lower f-stop to reduce anything distracting in the distance and got as close to the flower as my camera would allow.

I think this is a good example of depth of field because the fence is sharp and in focus while the background is blurred, which helps the colors of the sunset run together.
I tried to get as close as possible to the yellow maple leaf in order to achieve a shallow depth of field. As I have little control over F-stops and shutter speed on my compact camera, it's hard to believe that the shutter speed was 1/15.
This is an example of movement. I took this photo in a room that was a bit dark and I increased my shudder speed and while I was taking the photo I was moving my camera in a circular movement
