Red Panda contemplating deep thoughts

Hard Life of a Hard Worker.

People tell me that my playing is great. That it reminds them of the master Django Reinhardt. What do they know about Djanjo? These people don't know stuff. I tell folks that I play 8 hours a day to get my chops. The truth is I don't practice. I improvise. I make things up as I go. Right now I don't even know what key the band is playing. Nobody cares. Because the truth is Nobody listens. We are just background noise providing some contrived ambiance to this place. You really don't need to like me. I get it.

Izzy looking rather regal and serious in between thoughts of food and the droning airplane noise in her head.

Scene 1: Somewhere in an existential bar in Austin. Loud blues band wailing on the background. Other than that, only two people and the bartender are there.

Chuck: Can I tell you a secret?

Juzno: Sure thing.

Chuck: I'm Superman.

Juzno: Wow. Can I have your autograph?

Chuck: No, it's a secret. Remember?

Juzno: Aha.

"Layers of Reality"

View On Black

I was thinking while shooting this about the possibility of multiple realities existing side by side. Sitting just beneath our level of perception, or awareness, may lie the key which unlocks infinity.

...that grew only on dark thoughts but they need constant attention & one day I decided I had better things to do.

A Filipino man sits on boxes of delivered goods waiting for the store to open so he can finish his delivery while resting his head in his prayer-posed hands, deep in thought.

Excerpt from brainproject.ca:

Really, Really Good:

Being mindful of the simplest things in life can bring us the greatest reward.

Indulge, with abandon, in experiences that matter most; families, friendships and time well spent.

This is the stuff that memories are made of; really, really good memories. Cherished. Vivid. Unforgettable.

Deep Thoughts:

This is how the artist sees her “Deep Thoughts” travel through her brain very colourfully from the little brilliantly jewelled person in the stem…. Reaching out, moving with a flow of ideas, every minute of every day changing in response to the thoughts that run vividly through her mind. She feels the pastel rainbow of colours have movement like a flashing sign. The embellished gold jewels in the stem also represent a person, who is vibrant and constantly thinking.

Brainature:

A lot of remedies and cures are directly inspired from nature-related events. Penicillin is one of those great examples of learning from nature and working together to create something useful. This is what the artist is trying to trigger with this abstract ''Brainature'' design. Is it coral in the ocean that we should study? Or is it trees on land? To be able to study these unknowns we should go out there and explore! To be able to conduct this vital research, help is needed in every way, shape or form.

Blurred Lines:

A blurred abstract watercolour painting serves as the background, highlighting sections of the brain; highlighting the moments and memories that make up who we are. A growth of iridescent petals, the projection we show the world, casts colourful shadows in its wake. We are multifaceted. We are the idea, the image, and the shadow it casts; the impression it leaves in the mind. When the shadow fades and flickers, what remains of who we are?

One must not be entrapped in the uncertainty of the future and the mistakes of the past. Because what one does in the present can completely change the future and bury the past.

I found this weeks challenge a little hard as I have had a difficult week with the funeral of my wonderful uncle, came down with a bad cold and some weird and wonderful dreams from important people and places from my life, I woke up yesterday and wondered if these dreams could be trying to tell me something, then I thought of this weeks theme "Reflections" and came to the conclusion that maybe these dreams were telling me it was "Time To Reflect" on my life, so there you are my contribution to this weeks theme. Lost in thought, watching the sun go down

there’s a stillness in his expression, as though he’s carrying the burden of time. the man sits in contemplation, earphones hanging loosely, as if the world around him is playing a distant soundtrack to his thoughts. his hand resting on the bottle suggests both patience and weariness, a moment paused in quiet resignation. the subtle texture of his skin and the soft fabric of his shirt add to the humanity in this scene. shadows blend into the soft blur of the background, making it feel as though he's waiting for something unseen, perhaps beyond the frame—lost in the quiet intervals of life, where thoughts can weigh heavier than anything physical.

as i wandered through amsterdam's streets, i spotted this figure—swift yet steady, deep in thought, the city moving with him. his dark attire melts into the overcast atmosphere, but there's a quiet resilience in his glance. it's a moment of contrast: the soft urban haze, the hard edges of his bike, and that fleeting second of introspection.

NEW ORDER BLUE MONDAY

Lost in space somewhere between Earth and The Milky Way. Somewhere Between the Past and The Future. The Present is New Order Blue Monday.

"And still, I find it so hard To say what I need to say But,

I'm quite sure that you'll tell me Just how I should feel today."

through the columns of the city, where voices fade and thoughts linger, he sits. headphones draped around his neck, yet no music plays — it’s the pause between the beats that resonate. the light catches his face, but it’s the shadow that tells the story. i asked for a photo, and he offered stillness in return.

Prompt: Create a three-quarter vertical portrait of an old weathered sailor standing on the wooden deck of a classic ship. The sailor is an older man with a full white beard and deeply weathered face, wearing a navy-blue peacoat, matching pants and sailors cap. Gripping a coil of rope over his shoulder with one hand and rests the other hand firmly on the ship’s railing. His expression is in deep thought and focused as he gazes out toward the sea. The ocean waves crash against the ship’s side, adding energy to the scene. The lighting is daylight and directional, casting shadows and highlighting the sailor’s features and the texture of his clothing and surroundings. Style: Realistic digital fine art Mood: Noble, timeless, adventurous Lighting: sunlight with shadows Resolution: Ultra-high detail, --ar 11:14 --stylize 250

She saw something in the yard and it really captivated her.

Well... not really. Or maybe just that indeed. Whatever went down during this shoot, this one shot allways gives me those vibes. This was taken during a photo meetup a while ago with a great friend of mine. We did some candid shots, a few poses and some artsyfartsy stuff. We also explored the way of the Photographer with some training excercises.

This shot, is one of the best i made that day. I wanted a photograph without the fake smiles, funny bussiness and what not. I wanted something real. This was the result, and the result was gritty... I love this photo for many, many reasons.

Try to have a quiet moment enjoying nature and nature loudly squawks on by,..

There are points in life when you fixate so much on something so insignifcant in your little life and everything meaningful ahead of you is nothing but a blurred image. You just keep walking on your own path leading to somewhere you don't even care.

well lost in thoughts...... hmmm

When we're young we have faith in what is seen, but when we're old we know that what is seen is traced in air and built on water.

MAXWELL ANDERSON, Winterset

The years are long, and full of sharp, wearing days

That wear out what we are and what we have been

And change us into people we do not know,

Living among strangers.
