... for your good KARMA:-)))

I was sitting in the bed of my pick-up truck because it was the only place where the sunrise was hitting at the time I started working on my pictures. I heavily sprayed a dvd with water and glycerin to make the droplets and used my extension tube on my 50 mm lens. The drops make a lovely bokeh that seems to go on forever.

Day 44/365: 2015

For the weekly theme - low key.

This made me think of the song Reflections by Diana Ross and The Supremes (I'm showing my age now!). Here is a link to the song.

Don't spoil it for me, Frank. I'm not that far yet.

02/13/2026 | Day 44/365

So, I've started smoking again. Temporarily, hopefully. Shout at me if you want, but it's been a tough year so far and something had to give.

#day44 #44of365 I did yesterday's walk in reverse - up to the North Downs way through Nashenden, a brief flit into Shoulder of Mutton Wood, then down through Ringshill Farm, Ivy Cottage and starkey Castle, and across the meadow to the river path and home. This is the ditch in the meadow looking away from the Medway Crossing. The meadow is full of ice covered ponds at the moment - partly due to the weather but no doubt the breach in the river wall contributed too. Even today I noticed the difference from yesterday - a gradual thaw, and no icy east wind today.

It's President's Day. Because I work for a Government entity, I don't have to work today. Yay! I'm lounging around the house in my Union Jack socks and my Woobie. The Woobie will not be making an appearance today. You will thank me later.

Rain and fog mixed with spooky woods...? Best bring the camera in order to leave a 'Blair Witch' style mystery for whoever finds the remains...! Day 44/365.

I'm just starting to wonder how many things I'll have stuffed in my mouth by the time this 365 thing is done.

44/365 -Around the house - Day 44

The sunset was somewhat pretty although I feel this concept failed. I am in the lower right corner :-P

Day 44/365

"After a long drive, the smell, taste and feel of the country air soothes your soul."

Some of my favourite shots are of people with vintage cars - I don't have a vintage car, but we did use my car as a prop/backdrop while the sun was setting this afternoon.

I can't believe how difficult I found shooting into the sun. I ended up having to manually focus, which wasn't easy as I could hardly see Rosanna's face at times… however, I love the warmness of this, because it has been SO cold in the last few days. When I checked my iPhone weather thingy, I saw it was between 10-13 degrees… I sense winter.

Hope you like this - and for those who've been leaving comments regarding my Interview on PhotoTuts, thank you very much :D

Much love <3

Day 44 onboard, test run of the rescue boat. 30 degrees and 87% humidy, a bit too warm for this Orcadian.

Van Halen was infamous among promoters during the 1980s for strange demands in their show contract. From Herring in sour cream to a large tube of KY jelly, the expectations became increasingly bizarre. M&Ms were requested, but brown M&Ms were banned from the backstage area. If brown M&Ms were found, the boys in the band surmised the more important aspects of the show, from lighting to safety harnesses to security could be less than optimal as well.

Three Kings Day, also known as The Epiphany, is celebrated on January 6th, twelve days after Christmas. It is often viewed as the last day of the Christmas season (the end of the 12 days of Christmas).

Day 44 of 365

The further I get with this project, the more I've gotten back into my enjoyment of photography. It can be a pain at times, finding the time to take a daily shot, but all in all I am loving it.

My understanding, skill, eye, etc have all improved (or so I like to believe) and I feel I'm taking better phtotos and with the addition of my growing photoshop skills, creating some interesting works as well.

44 days into it and I find myself looking forward to the next days shot (most of the time) and I've complied a list of "projects" that I'd like to try or ideas that I'd like to use for my 365 Days. Hopefully this enthusiasm will continue for the remaining days.

"The Vortex"

Sitting outside the Museum of Modern Art in Fort Worth, the Vortex is an instant attention getter both for its immense size and because the reverberating sounds it makes when inside.

7.23.09. I'M FREEEEEE :D

Finallllyyyy!! No more summer school for meee!

Today in italian noi abbiamo una festa :)

Hannah brought in this amazingly good pasta and Anna brought this pizza bread. I just brought this type of chocolate (because we don't really make Italian food at home, unless they like pierogi?... which isnt really italian.... but... hey, I have them..)

So yea, it was pretty fun.

In math we took our final exam *which took about an hour and a half to finish * *hits head against wall*

but I'm done until august 24th :D

*repatches the hole in the wall*

Maybe now I can focus on getting better photos?
