Day 37 ~365: the 2013 edition
In the foreground the Diana Temple in the Munich Hofgarten, the garden of the Munich Residence, a twelve-sided gazebo from the Renaissance period with eight open and four closed round arches. Through the arch you can see the Bavarian State Chancellery.
My ride today was through town to visit a friend in the hospital and on the way home I stopped in the Hofgarten to take a few pictures.
This is a little cozy restaurant in Zgorzelec, Poland. And it doesn't just look good from the outside, but they also have very delicious food. ;)
Circles of beads....
An elderly friend gave me these years ago. Probably not genuine, but I love rows of white beads against the backdrop of a little black dress. Gotta run. Enjoy!

February 6th. My slightly flexible day so home this afternoon and after a slightly chilly run, I took advantage of the sunshine. So I'd be interested if any of you can guess this one. There is a hint in the title. I did have a great shot of a corrugated roof, but this just worked for me today; the roof will be there all year!

Sorry I haven't been around much the last couple of weeks, so have been a bit lacking in the comments dept, doing my best to catch up now!
I was driving to Oswestry today to grab a present for my nephew's birthday. I had to stop in a village on the way as sun coming through the clouds looked quite beautiful over the misty landscape.
I didn't really have time to mess around changing lenses, so I took a quick shot with my 50mm (slightly cropped afterwards to remove a fence I didn't want in the shot) & complete with lens flare ; ) I don't know how to remove it so it's staying. I don't mind a bit of lens flare.

I LOVE SNOW. Well, at first I didn't want this storm to come but then all my plans for this weekend got postponed (before the snow even came) anyways, and I really really like snow. It goes higher than my knees.

Just in a daze after a nap on a Sunday afternoon. The best time to capture where you are, is to take a picture when you're unguarded and unaware for yourself (like, in the middle of the night, or after a nap). Am I sad? I'm not sure that's the word. I'm troubled. Worried. Stressed. Overwhelmed. Content. Humbled. And like many others before me, finding some way to listen and follow.

What I mean by "straightforward" is - none of my usual Photoshop effects and stuff. Of course, I still used PS to fix things up a bit and give the photo some punch. The texture you see on the wall is actual.
So these orchids (fresh ones, not sugar!) were extras from a cake I decorated today. How can I resist using them as "props"? Hehe...
I do not usually like to smile so big in pictures because I have awful teeth. Mostly my fault why they're so gosh darn awful. Good thing it's not obvious here.. ;-)
