Back to work, another short week so it won’t be that bad :-) Most of my co-workers went on vacation leave and will be back to work next year. Since I stayed local for the holidays and had to report 2 days last week and 2 1/2 days only this week, I didn’t file for VL. I’m saving them for the rainy days! :-)
Have a great week dear friends!
spent the day out and got home in time to shoot this sunset

A day off, from a very busy schedule, spent with friends in Cambridge. Lunch in Carluccio's where we saw these.
Hope to catch up with comments soon.
I did a similar photograph last year but felt that it could be improved. I think I prefer this one but I still think improvements can be made. Which one do you prefer?

To go from a nice, standard, styled shot, to this ... I just had nothing else to post honestly. Go with what you know; that's what I always say.
I think at a stretch, I can get another 30 shots out of the river Gelt.... and I've used up another one here. Its convenient and close and very pretty, but I need to make it last the whole 365!
Still under the weather but should have a chance to look and comment later this evening.
having come from HUGE amount of snow it was fun to have freezing conditions here this morning and i managed to get outside to take some pics of the hail littering our garden. I have not used my macro lens add ons for ages. it also meets the 365 weekly theme (week 5) for circles
This is played with in pixelmator for the 100 group. sharpened, exposure adjusted and then coloured slightly. and coincidentally also fits the 100 group theme of "on the edge"
somewhat cheekily I am also adding this pic to the We're Here gang for the 4th February (is that allowed? even though it was 3rd feb pic?) : Lavender.
Day 34 of 365... Went climbing the falls which are now seasonally icy. Only slipped once, minor damage to the (of course) photo taking finger (!!!!) upon landing. :( Poor Me. Anyhow I love the shadow of the tree on the rock next to the falls, and the HUGE icicles too. I was prevented from climbing closer to get better captures of the icicles... Probably a good idea, all things considered.
*Note: Not a Good Idea to Wear Expensive Jeans While Rock Climbing*
*Sigh*

The Challenge: Take one self portrait each day for a year.
Each day, take a self portrait, tag it with "365days", and submit it to the pool. It's that simple!

>.< LATE UPLOAD! One day late, I know, I know, but that's because I came home late after the GREEN DAY CONCERT!!!
OHMYGOSH it was amazing!
Me and my friend, Michal and his mom (who was nice enough to drive us there) were supposed to sit in the 3rd balcony, so we walk up those flights of stairs and when we get there, the lady says, "oh this section's closed of because blah blah (I wasn't paying attention to why at 1st, I was more mad that the section was closed) but then she said these magical words, "instead, you can sit in the center front rows behind the floor!" I mean what kind of luck is that?
My favorite songs they did would have to be: 21st Century Breakdown, Holiday, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Basket Case, 21 Guns, Minority
and last but not least- Good Riddance, Time of Your Life (that is my favorite song by them :)
it's something unpredictable, but in the end is right. I hope you had the time of your life.

Punxsutawney Phil got this one wrong. February 3 and spring has sprung.
I ♥ the South!
This is one of the rare times when anyone will ever see anything inside of my journal. But I felt it was necessary to get this out there. Dallas Green is an amazing singer/songwriter.
I can hear my train coming,
it's a lonesome and distant cry.
I can hear my train coming,
now I'm running for my life.

Another image taken on our plane ride around Butte County. The Sutter Buttes were covered in fog and low clouds and made for a rather mystical look in the evening light.
Jewish Kaballah
Sephira = Emanation.
7 x 7 = 49 days
We wish to take part in perfecting Creation, in this and all universes. We do that by counting each day, by focusing, concentration, thinking, feeling, and dwelling in the inner meaning of each Sephira = Emanation, within all the other Sepherot = Emanations...
The Emanations are constructs from the Hebrew Alefbet. All Creation is from the Hebrew letters.
How utterly amazing!!
Is there a resemblance to programming?
Mom's depression glass......
At least I think so, considering she was born in 1903 and I grew up looking at those glasses. Had to do this on the quick today. Close up lens filters. Enjoy
Thank you for your visit, faves and comments.

For 365: The 2015 Edition -- 34/365
Apparently, Bunny has a smooth plan going here to raise some money. I'm not sure what she's looking to buy, but my guess is that it will be in the red/pink family, since she believes that's the only color worth having!
