Despite a huge setback with Jose's health, I finished the three bobbins tonight and am ready to ply. I'm too excited to wait and might begin right away. But first I will weigh them to see if I split the fiber up evenly.

As unmotivated as I was today, it was nice to stumble into this small fad and completely rip off a bunch of people that I don't really know.

So there was this really great shot... then someone did a copycat, then another, then another... lemmings -- myself included.

I'm incredibly late for "the legion of shhhhhh", but I don't give a shit.

The smile? It's here to stay, I think. And I'm liking it. A lot.

These pools of water are vital to the animal life in the desert. To get to this secluded spot, you have to drive in on a four-wheel drive road for about 30 minutes then hike in about a quarter mile. Well worth it!

Bad picture, I know. Cut me some slack. Been working 6 days a week, this day was the Arlington Street Fair. I got to sit outside on the street in our salon booth all day long, with a horrible sinus infection. Being sick is even more fun when you have crowds of people staring at you. Hehe.
