Hampton Falls is a small town that borders on my town of Seabrook, NH.
There really is a waterfall in Hampton Falls. It is a very pretty site, but this description seems to be trying to convince the reader that it's not worth a visit!
From the "World Waterfall Database" (did you know there was such a thing?):
"Hampton Falls appears to largely consist of the remnants of an old mill dam, with some minor rapids or cascades at its base. Lidar data shows the combined height of both to be less than 10 feet, with the natural falls likely accounting for no more than 3 feet of that drop. This entry does not meet the minimum requirements for classification. Additionally, it is located immediately in the back yard of the adjacent private residence and will not be accessible to the public."
