I was on my usual walkabout when I came across this spinning clump. The water was running off from two different fields and caught in the middle was this collection of hay and twigs.
I stared at it for a while, the wind was whipping and added to the spin.
It reminded me of two people, two groups, two ideas coming together. Just spinning, neither having sway over the other, round and around it went.
Then the wind died down, the spinning stopped, and the clump flowed into the stream, which now had become one.

Nikon D3S which just happened to be set to ISO 12800, but wasn't really needed. This is an actual pixel for pixel crop.
while taking a break during my working day i came across a fisherman on the bank of the river cam in Granchester near Cambridge .we chatted for a while , he was telling me of the type of fly he was using for bate and so much more , i then asked to make ake his image. the location was in a shady spot with sun lighting up the canopy of the trees which led to some lovely reflections and colours.

Originally I was going to make a tattooed skin for him and I had this cool lil plot and personality for him but my bodyshop hates me and won't load so I couldn't make it so I'm not sure on his character anymore :'(
Damien Mitchell is an Australian artist who lives in Brooklyn. I got to meet him while capturing this work of his. Damien's Brooklyn Street Trompe-l'œil is practically a landmark and his Portrait of Nina Simone at the Bushiwck Collective was pretty great too. He's a real nice guy and here's an interview that he did on the Melbourne art scene.
