It has been raining a lot this Spring, and the view of Dallas is very green. A few nice sunsets in the mix as well.
Rod chided me on why I wouldn't throw out the empty Propel box.. but the cats still use it from time to time, so...
I've had a scenario in my head for a while -- trying to get the right sunset clouds behind the Dallas skyline. This is getting closer. Usually storm clouds leaving to the east get my attention.
The Dallas downtown area from the Reunion Tower Geo-Deck, taken this evening after heavy rain last, a stressful and long day, made my way down to Dallas trying to time it at blue hour post rain I gambled that it would be clear. Downtown Dallas from Oak Cliff Founders Park, yes with some clutter in the foreground, but I love the light of this image, I wandered off looking for clean perspective from this vantage point which I did not find, my damsel actually lost sight of me as in my ADHD induced hyper focused search for a blue hour vantage point I neglected to let her know what direction I was taking off to. The lit arches of the Margaret McDermott Bridge in Dallas Texas part of Interstate 30 which is just west of Downtown Dallas and crosses the Trinity River. The Margaret McDermott Bridge which was built as part of the Trinity River Project was named after one of Dallas’s most beloved philanthropist Margaret McDermott, the wife of the founder of Texas Instruments who was the first individual to make a personal financial contribution which ensured the city of Dallas was able to secure the services of Santiago Calatrava the architect that designed the Oculus Travel Hub in the World Trade Center in New York City. Margaret McDermott was born in 1912 and lived to be 106 years of age.
