Definately a routine for my husband, as many of you know. Syl

I don't like munching on sandwiches in the morning: this liquid breakfast provides all the nutrition with none of the hassle

A woman is stretching her hands while seated at a desk in a well-lit home office. She wears a blue shirt and appears to take a break from her work.

The other day, from my window.

Why has life felt topsy-turvy this week? Because my bathroom is finally being redone! The demolition was Tuesday, and the moldy drywall has all been taken out (and the source of the mold discovered and remedied). It's still hard to remember, though, that it's not a usable bathroom. Especially super-early in the morning.

We always try to make workouts routine, but sometimes it is hard.

Even if I don't see her every day, this child is very much a part of my everyday life. There hasn't been a day since she was born that I haven't seen or spoken to her.

Golden hour sunlight washes over the rugged, uneven cobblestones of a steeply sloping street in the Argentine Northwest, casting elongated, dramatic shadows that emphasize the texture of the ancient path. A family descends the worn thoroughfare, deeply embedded in the rhythm of daily life in this high-altitude Andean town, likely Iruya. To the left, a man in a vividly striped shirt and baseball cap strides purposefully downward, a bright blue plastic shopping bag clutched in his hand, adding a pop of saturated color against the earthy tones of the street. Beside him, a young child in a bright red cap and pastel pink trousers holds tightly to the hand of a woman dressed in a warmly striped orange sweater, their connected hands a quiet testament to familial bonds. Pausing momentarily against the textured, ochre-colored adobe wall on the right, an older girl in a blue fleece hoodie holds a vibrant bundle of fresh green herbs wrapped delicately in a white fringed cloth. The photograph employs a subtle Dutch angle, slightly tilting the horizon to visually amplify the steepness of the descent and inject a dynamic, kinetic energy into the composition. Sharp, directional lighting from the setting or rising sun sculpts the subjects, highlighting the natural folds of their clothing and the rugged topography of the stone-paved road beneath their feet. This candid street portrait captures the authentic essence of Norte Argentino, where traditional practices like foraging or purchasing local herbs blend seamlessly with modern everyday attire. The warm color palette, dominated by deep oranges, yellows, and contrasting blues, evokes a sense of timelessness and the enduring spirit of the region's indigenous and mestizo heritage. Every detail, from the weathered stones to the casual strides of the locals, constructs a compelling narrative of resilient life in the remote, majestic landscapes of northern Argentina.
