Grubby DXB 5166 has "A TEAM" rubbed into its cab side at the moment. It was going too fast for me to put "CLEAN ME" on the other side.
Train 923 glides through the edges of the Victorian precinct of Oamaru, which is littered with these ornate whitestone buildings, built from a hard limestone which was quarried just down the rail at Weston. The stone was a popular building material for entire homes, large buildings and even sheds locally, and as a decorative element contrasting with tougher bluestone in buildings throughout the country - prime examples being Dunedin's railway station, high court and university buildings. It was also used to build Auckland's main post office, which is now the entrance to its Britomart downtown railway station
DFT 7241 was picked up at Oamaru as an un-needed banker loco for this short train on its run over the hills to Dunedin. Its the second time I've seen a DFT on this job ever, both in the last week. Normally DC bankers are used.

W piątkowe popołudnie, czyli na tydzień przed otwarciem wystawy do Warszawy zawitał Boeing 777 wersji-300 noszący zielone logo wystawy. We flocie znajdują się również maszyny noszące niebieskie i pomarańczowe logo, zarówno na B777 jak i A380.
