I don't normally take photos of cars. This is one exception.
While out for dinner just outside of Copenhagen, I couldn't help but take a photo of this immaculate & beautiful Citroën DS idling at the curb.
This scarab shaped car was awarded “Product of the Century” ahead of the Boeing 747, lunar landing module, and even the Apple Macintosh computer.
It was gorgeous!
I believe 'Citroën' means 'Different Spirit'.
A 1971 British registered Citroën DS, NPW 264M, seen in Gloucestershire. The Citroën DS, and its less expensive variant, the Citroën ID, are front-engined, front-wheel drive executive cars manufactured and marketed by Citroën from 1955 to 1975 in sedan/fastback, wagon/estate and convertible body configurations, across three series.

* DS Børøysund (built 1908, Trondheim) is Norway’s last steamer that still holds a passenger license.
* The next one is the steam driven tugboat DS Styrbjørn (built 1910, Gothenburg, Sweden) witch was sinked by the Germans in the battle of Narvik in 1940 and later repaired.
* The last one is the minesweeper M314 «KNM Alta» (built 1953, Maine, USA) with a hull completely made of wood. This vessel now a museum.
