I was running out of ideas and this was a spontaneous shot I took during the family dinner last weekend. :)
I seen this man on the first day of our holidays and on our last 10th day. This time I've stopped him to take photos of his awesome tattoos! He didn't mind taking photos at all!

Highlight of our vist was a good look around the Deltic Preservation Societys shed with many 'deltic' things to look at and engines and other spares, the cab off Th Green Howards is in the background and freshly restored.

Believe me, this was way harder to achieve than it looks. I had to do two trips to the beach as I just could not get the angles right on the first day. The angles of the vertical lines changed depending on how far the camera was from the box, what the POV angle was and how wide I had my lens, and not being able to clearly see my screen on my camera didn't help either. I had to enlist Mr FKG to help me draw it today, it took over an hour to get it right(and it could have still done with some tweaking) but we were running out of light.
"Best of the Year 2012"- Sand Box
This was orignally submitted for the Forced Perspective assignment. I chose this shot for my "Best of Year" mainly because of the planning and the time & effort that went into creating it which included two visits to the beach (as I just couldn't get the angles right the first time). While it might look simple enough it was a tough challenge to draw, I had to draw around 10 large "boxes" before I finally got the right perspective.
37100 still exists as 97301. The two Deltics are preserved in working order by the Deltic Preservation Society.
A 2 alarm fire destroyed several vehicles and a car port at the rear of a Sunnyvale apartment complex in October 2013.
Sunnyvale DPS handled the fire while calling on Mountain View and Santa Clara Fire Departments to provide Station coverage. FIre Associates and County EMS were on hand to Rehab the fire crews.
One of the new Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicles in service with the Sunnyvale DPS. DPS officers serve both Fire and Patrol functions, with a standard fire dispatch including 6 Patrol vehicles to work as Fire, they rush to the scene Code 3 and don Turnout gear from the back of their cruisers and join the fire crews. Additional Patrol officers are dispatched for traffic control and other more typical Police work.
