This is a learning activity designed to teach lens selection to cinematography students. My role: conceptual (along with Michael Jorgensen who came to me with the idea), design and development. Development is IN PROGRESS. Made with Adobe AIR which supports web and app (iPad + Android) delivery. Word mark designed by Patricia Begley.
The focus slider causes simulates depth of field to determine which how much of each plane (fore-ground, mid-ground, back-ground) is in focus. There is also some vertical parallax effect with the foreground as you use the Focal Distance slider.

On 8 and 9 Mar, students from School of Digital Media & Infocomm Technology exhibited their Final Year Projects to industry partners at SPCC. They had a blast with cosplay and performances by Diploma in Music & Audio Technology students!
