January always feels like a good time for a bit of a detox... especially after all the holiday food.
I don't want to rule the world
It's a change I'm here to see

El susodicho lleva apio, espinacas, pepino, limón, manzana y, a falta de aguacate, ingrediente de la versión original, he añadido mango (excelente, también, por sus propiedades), yogur y sirope de agave.

Like many birds, cuckoos eat insects, spiders, worms, and caterpillars. However, there are some caterpillars that absorb toxins from the plants they eat, becoming toxic themselves. Most birds have learned to avoid these critters, but not the cuckoo. They don't let something as trifling as deadly poison keep them from their tasty meal. They simply bite the caterpillar's head off, and then shake the body to expel the toxins before swallowing it down. Many of these caterpillars are covered with barbed hairs, but that's no problem for the cuckoo either. They periodically shed their stomach lining, embedded barbed hairs and all, and regurgitates it as a pellet.

Not sure why, but this time around in Italy, there seemed to be loads of cats around .... but they are cute, aren't they?
Today I started a 4 day liquid detox. Just four days of liquid with no solids. I survived Day 1 already and am rather happy with my will power. 3 more days to go ...
9.11.2010 - day 2 detox. 50% through. 2 more days to go. Seeing stars a bit but still am ok. :P
10.11.2010 - day 3. Not as difficult as I thought.
11.11.2010 - final day of detox. Am feeling great .......

Day 30 of my detox therapy experiment: a "sabbatic month", without posting my pictures on "post 1 / award X" groups, except for HDR ones. I do this to "clean up" the comments and read only "sincere" comments, without images, just to see the real number of visits.
This is the last day, I think I will keep doing this way but without telling you...or maybe I will invent some other crazy projects :)
