A new LEGO Castle MOC from me, but this one is pink.
Was very keen to experiment with none traditional colours for a castle MOC, and it was very fun to do so.
If you're keen to hear more insights on this build, see some break downs of the techniques and how some areas of this MOC are built, check out this analysis video of the MOC:
Another castle MOC, gotta love castle :) Wanted to play with some bright and bold colours in this one and really happy with how it turned out. Hope you enjoy it!

All my life I have been fascinated with fantasy literature and movies. From DandD through to Magic the Gathering, I have always had a love for the fantastical and magical. I guess I find the made up worlds of imaginations preferable to our own reality. But sometimes, the worlds of the mind cross over into the world of the real ( how can it not, most worlds are based, in part on what their authors see around them).
I had a discussion today with a follower and he raised the question in my mind of what is MY style. I guess my influences are the magical tales of deep green forests far far away and misty woods inhabited by all sorts of strange and wonderful beings.
This iamge reminds me of the scene in LOTR where the Ents gather to discuss how to deal with Saruman and his Goblin armies laying waste to their forests for their own fires and war machines. I hope you like it.
Brave Adventurers fight the fearsome Beholder, will they defeat it?
The Beholder design belongs to
Brandon and Taylor (2 Studs), Really solid design, just had to take a cool photo with it.
Here's the original design:

(The character Thorbert Magicfizzle belongs to the YouTuber Zisteau, but I adapted the character in a DandD game I played with friends and he became very iconic with my friend group. Sun Po is another fun character we created.
They needed a cool picture together.

A goblin crusader, following a trail of dart frogs, that point the way to his demigod, the Great Toad, whose croaks fill the night...
...the assassin, clad in fabric of moonlight, leaps from bough to bough. Don't touch her butterflies or maybe you won't be waking up...
...sleep you say? Why not pass by the Ivory Inn? They say the landlady has a hand in magic, and the change she gives is fool's gold...
...if its gold you're after, you'll find a king's ransom and more under the feet of one questing elven champion. Won through war, conquest and exhibition, some claim it's enough to attract dragons...
...not that there would be any if this knight had his way. Armed to the teeth, he's harried dozens to their lairs, and the air is crisp where once it smoked...
...now the forests remain alive and vibrant, especially those of the verdant dwarves, who left their mountain halls long ago to spend their time with the living...
...speaking of living, don't go near Indigo the Incredible, for he is learned in the old ways, and it is said that with a click of his fingers you can go up in a poof of pink smoke!
As with any characters, they are ultimately there to tell a story, but my hope is that they tell different stories to those who write them. I had no story in mind when creating these, instead I aimed for a group of varied characters each with something to draw the eye, and had fun writing one afterwards.
Speaking of fun, I had a lot making these, in keeping with my preferred style of a high density of texture and small pieces in a cramped space. The vignettes are inspired by customised warhammer bases, and each uses slightly different methods of connection for their constituent elements. I wanted to provide a bit of background to the characters, each in their own environment, but with the idea that, as in tabletop games, they could be brought together into the trials and tribulations of adventure, while visually retaining their character.
As for the characters themselves, some, like the knight, came from parts usages (I've been trying to fit that visor in somewhere for a very long time). Others, such as the elf and the dwarf, came from role switching (what if elves loved gold, and dwarves the woods?) Others from print combinations, colour matches and artwork. There are even a few that didn't make the cut (and for now reside in my banner 👀).
If you've read this far, I hope you've had a half-decent read - I've enjoyed writing it!
Here's a little bit of a sneak peak of what's to come this year at Brickvention 2019. Of course it'll be another Collab build with my Friend Eli
If you don't know what Brickvention is it's a LEGO convention in Melbourne Australia. If you're coming let me know, would be happy to hang out and chat :)
See you at Brickvention 2019!

The Ravens ventured further and further into the harsh deserts of Omos. Genlen decided to part ways with the team. He was a nomad by nature and this was simply what he did. The Ravens came across a strange abandoned village. Exploring it revealed little. But there was always an ever-present sense that something was watching, and evils were lurking. Exhausted from their travels the team decided to sleep inside one of the abandoned buildings.
Sekarr awoke to see that Lia had disappeared. Readying his blade, he left to search the dark and abandoned city. He found Lia dancing in the town hall alone. But Lia seemed different. As if she was not herself. She took Sekarr and Koruel to the graveyard just outside the Town Hall, here Koruel and Sekarr did their best to wake her from this daze, but did so to little avail. The Duo sooner realized that Lia was possessed by an evil spirit, and did all they could to free Lia of this evil. In their attempts to defeat the spirit and rescue Lia, Koruel disappeared following the trail of another spirit. Wounded Sekarr fled outside the city, hoping to nurse his wounds and re-enter the fight.
Koruel discovered that the ghost tormenting them was the spirit of a man named Pascal, whom died about 400 years ago. The other Spirit that was guiding Koruel was a young girl named Zora who had been blessed by an Ethereal Dragon, which had spurred her fathers efforts and killed her in his experiment.
After much trouble and an almost unending barrage of horrors and spirits, Lia was freed, and our team escaped the town in relatively decent shape. Lia tried to return Zora to her grave, but she decided she wasn’t ready to leave and took shelter inside Lia.
The party ventured further towards Lemnos.

One of the ways I felt more normal is that I was invited to play D&D via Zoom once a week with my bro’s group. In fact, one of them sent some large dice that were better for me to handle since I was having trouble with my hand. Playing with them really helped provide a sense of normalcy that I really needed.

This one taking my geekiness to a whole new level!
It's a semi-clear d20 i picked up the other day (in case for those who don't know what is a d20 is, it's a dice with 20 faces, usually use for board type RPG games). and I shined it with my green laser pointer (yes it 's green. not red!). took a close up shot of it...
also it's the first pict that i am trying to use cc license. let's see how it turns out! feel free to contact me for anything!
