This workshop is intended to provide a forum for facilitating discussions on work carried out in the area of Cybersecurity under Action line C5. This session will address issues concerning promoting Cybersecurity and ensuring better international cooperation through the adoption of an international framework. In particular, participants will examine international trends and developments toward the implementation of international norms and principles and will emphasize existing national, regional and international efforts to ensure a safe and peaceful use of ICTs. As we fast approach the 10-year anniversary of the Tunis Phase of WSIS, special emphasis will be placed on providing guidance on strategies and actions needed beyond 2014 under this action line.
