This classic is a perfect example of what a Mercedes 560SEC should be like, the only thing that was letting it down we the original exhausts system, which has seen better days. It sounded nothing like what a V8 should. The worst thing about classic was is that at the internal parts of the exhaust break down and cause restrictions which in turn affect the overall running of the vehicle. Somewhere along the line, it had low-quality downpipes fitted. We had to build him a complete mandrel manifold back exhaust system which was complicated. However, after a few days of hard labour, we managed to give him the V8 sound he wanted, much better performance from the Tri-Y manifolds and will last a lifetime. A car well maintained will always appreciate, this 560s were already rising in prices and built by engineers and not white-collar men just looking for profits.

GMC Sonoma 1980 Pickup Truck Custom Exhaust by Profusion Customs. The exhaust on this GMC Sonoma had perished, and in need of a new one, the customer decided to keep the truck for as long as he could and wanted to treat it to an exceptional stainless steel exhaust that would deliver a great sound. He also wanted to have a side exit which always looks good on trucks. The result was a delighted customer.

Bristol Blenheim Series 3 2000 Custom Exhaust by Profusion Customs. The original exhaust on this Classic Bristol Blenheim was is very poor condition and constructed badly, with so many flat spots which restricted the flow of the V8 engine.
The customer felt the exhaust was too restictive and wanted to hear a little bit more of a deeper sound but not boy racer.
He had heard many exhausts where some exhaust shops have removed all silencers and built a straight pipe exhaust, and all you get is harsh noise and not enjoyable sound. Bristol 2000 Custom Exhaust by Profusion Customs. This Bristol car, which is is impeccable condition was sent to us by a Bristol car specialist who has been working on Bristol cars for many years and set up his own shop. The owner of the Bristol trusts his workmanship and after speaking to a few exhaust shops, it became apparent that Profusion were the only company to have the right silencers and the skills to build the exhaust.
The original system was in terrible condition, it was a mish mash of stainless steel boxes and mild steel pipes. The combination created huge restrictions. We build the complete exhaust with a silencer in the middle which houses an X-pipe to merge the gasses and create a scavaging affect which increases the power. A manifold back mandrel exhaust system was built. The customers requirements for sound were to keep it sensible but would like to hear the V8 engine. finished it off with turndown tailpipes.

Honda Integra R Custom Exhaust by Profusion Customs. A previous owner had a custom exhaust built during the car's existence but badly put it together. Because they didn't have access to the right silencers, what they installed couldn't handle the pressures of the gasses vacating, so the internal packaging did just the same. They vacate, leaving behind empty chambers which sound noisy and the drone is unbearable. The entire exhaust system was so poorly fitted that even the tailpipe was way behind the end on the bumper, causing more damage. You can see the amateur job just by looking at the welding.
We built the entire exhaust again, ensuring controlled sound levels. Our work resulted in a delighted customer.

This Audi A3 owner loves his car but not the sound, so we built him a complete mandrel bent cat back exhaust system with Louter valve so he had best of both world, sensible sound when valve is closed and pops and bangs with the valve open. He was super happy with the results.

BMW 335D X Drive M Sport 2017 Custom Exhaust by Profusion Customs. For this customer, it was all about aesthetics. He wanted to give his diesel BMW a more desirable look. So we removed the rear silencer, as it didn’t make much difference to the sound. The customer supplied the diffuser and built the rear section using a mandrel-bent 304-grade stainless steel tube.

This classic is a perfect example of what a Mercedes 560SEC should be like, the only thing that was letting it down we the original exhausts system, which has seen better days. It sounded nothing like what a V8 should. The worst thing about classic was is that at the internal parts of the exhaust break down and cause restrictions which in turn affect the overall running of the vehicle. Somewhere along the line, it had low-quality downpipes fitted. We had to build him a complete mandrel manifold back exhaust system which was complicated. However, after a few days of hard labour, we managed to give him the V8 sound he wanted, much better performance from the Tri-Y manifolds and will last a lifetime. A car well maintained will always appreciate, this 560s were already rising in prices and built by engineers and not white-collar men just looking for profits.
