After World War II Buescher stopped stamping the classic Bell and Triangle True-Tone logo on its instruments.
After the war instruments are stamped with this simpler "Buescher True-Tone" logo. This design had been around in print advertisements and catalogs since the 1930s.
The "LP" stands for "Low Pitch" indicating that the horn is made to play in American concert pitch where concert A=440 Hz.
I'm a little surprised they still bothered stamping that on their horns when this was made, as the low pitch standard had become pretty much universal by 1950.
