This was shot in downtown Austin. Car cultures run the gamut in Texas. Maybe that’s next years project, document cars in Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, The Valley, and of course Houston. I’m thinking classic cars, muscle cars, corvettes, new cars, and all trucks too!

I went to my favourite place to take pictures of cars (Plainfield). Every Tuesday the main street of plainfield are full of wonderful cars.
Today I have this shot of a 36' Ford street rod. It was one of the cars with most views of the night. I love the combinatiOn of the classic car plus some feature of a modern car, It adds something to it.

The weather is nice, the streets are close, I can hear the loud sounds of engines driving towards me. It is the time of the year when this wonderful machines show up from couple of hours to be admire. A lot of people make the drive to Plainfield, many, if not most, are people who dream about hot rods, classic cars and muscle cars. Plainfield is located about 45 minutes southwest of downtown Chicago, but it is the place to be every Tuesday from 6-9.

It is hard to do HDR with black cars because of the noise, so I went for some realistic style in this F1, I love the matt black and the red combination, too sick like my brother says!
