The machine is spectacular and looks even better in person. If you're in California you really have to stop by Theorem by Portola Coffee Lab to see this custom Slayer and taste the coffee that these guys are pulling!

White oak steam actuators

After the panels were antiqued, we mounted a brushed stainless steel panel to highlight the reveal through the panel

We also designed and build a custom wooden cup tray for the machine - made from the same Peruvian Walnut that we use on the other actuators

Full rear profile of the custom Slayer

Close up of the cup tray - the shape of the wood mimics the same profile as the aluminum X and the bow in the back of the cup tray adds dimension to the rear panel

Here you can see the level of detail in the antiqued copper finish

Here is a shot of Slayer's new shipping crate artwork we've just designed and are now applying to all machines leaving our Seattle studio.

We inset stainless steel into the wood to add strength and support, allowing you to pick up the tray loaded with cups when you grab the wooden sides. Notice the craftsmanship of the wood and how perfectly the stainless matches up
