Some additional angles of model of the Town Hall of Deurne, which I built as a wedding present to two dear friends.
We had the big honor to create the startcollection for the Dudes Factory. This first collection was called "Nature vs. Future" and was divided into these two parts. We designed the "Nature"-part and our friends from 110 Specialblack took hands on "Future"

My first year on Flickr comes to a close! It's been a pleasure to join some of the lovely (and very skilled) people on this platform and add my own builds to the mix, some of which I am very pleased with! I would have loved to have more to show for especially the second half of the year, but as it turns out, being a new dad takes up most of ones time :)

My seventh entry for the final round of the Iron Forge 2025!
The seed part, flower stem with three prongs was used a total of 10 times.
Playing around with dark and accentuated lighting is quite new to me, hope it came out okay.
I'm working on a custom job for a couple who wanted their dog to be the front of a "Save the Date" postcard.
Tabletops made of 100+ year old siding from a deconstructed barn in Western NY. The wood is hemlock and the coloring is due to the abundance of tannin in hemlock. Satin, water-based polyurethane brings the natural dark character of the wood out. We almost never use stain because old wood is naturally so full of character and grain. The underside is made from plywood from broken down kitchen cabinet remnants. only the brads, glue and varnish are new.
I can build undecarriages, but they take more work than the tops, so to save money some customers buy legs online (like those shown here) and I attach them. It's a pretty piece that the owner is using to work from at home since so many office workers are at home.
