Meadows Sports Complex in Tallahassee, Florida is an athletic staple to the community. However, the artificial turf that the complex used on one of their sports field was not holding up to their standards. It was filled with an immense amount of rubber, causing many injuries, leaving players with stained skin, and it had a terrible smell after a while. ForeverLawn Emerald Coast came to the rescue, working hand in hand with the city to provide them with the field of their dreams. After long periods of testing and experimenting, ForeverLawn Emerald Coast replaced the inefficient artificial turf with a custom designed SportsGrass Edge XP product by ForeverLawn that required no rubber infill. The 75,000 square foot new field has received "nothing but glowing reviewsfrom coaches, players, and other city members," says Emerald Coast owner, Marci Gragg. "What we kept hearing over and over were 2 things. How true the ball rolled & how clean the field was - straight lines, great turf and NO RUBBER!"

We had the big honor to create the startcollection for the Dudes Factory. This first collection was called "Nature vs. Future" and was divided into these two parts. We designed the "Nature"-part and our friends from 110 Specialblack took hands on "Future"
The collection is consisting of loads of different custom made designproducts, handpainted artworks and an intensive variety of T-Shirtdesigns.

These place cards were designed for a friend's wedding. She wanted the guest name, table name and meal preference choices on one side of the cards for the caterer's use. On the other side of the card, the grapeleaf design continues with the bride & groom names and wedding date just below it.

Slab made from southern yellow pine joist from a grape transfer, railroad depot, in Skeneatteles (finger lakes region ny), deconstructed and salvaged by ReUse Action (reuseaction.com) in Buffalo NY. Barn probably was built approx 1880s or 90s...and before wine became so important (1930s) it was probably used for other produce.
Building was rebuilt on a modern inner structure, and excess lumber ( long 2 and 3x joists) was salvaged used in this table slab, sold and used for other projects. The joists and beams are old-growth southern yellow pine...as hard as rock, and fragrant and densely grained....and beautiful when finished with satin varnish. It has many holes and gouges that I carefully fill with marine epoxy.
Base was built of black gas pipe. Finished with flat black paint and antiqued. Leveler feet were custom desined and turned from oak from another barn (I dont personally like flanges or pipe caps for feet and needed to design a better leg foot).
Used now as a conference table by an architecture firm. Its meant to be used with stools or as stand up.
