"We're one of the same. Same heart, same blood."
Here are all my more recent custom Clone Troopers. Custom clones a is where I got my start as a customizer, so I love making clone troopers since it always throws me back into the past.
So far, I've made Commander Cody, a 501st Legion trooper, then four clones from Battlefront II being the Assault, Heavy, Specialist, and Jet Troopers.
These guys are all 100% hand-painted other than the base torso print.
I have a lot more clones I want to make, so expect more of these guys!
Haven't shown this custom Frag Viper in a while.
It was actually my childhood figure, but I opted for a repaint more in line with the Vipers.
The end of the day promised but was not very collaborative, with some time, gave me for long exposures with a custom white balance.
I particularly liked the result of this, but I give myself to your justice ...

Arealight printed Hera Twi'lek head
Custom work by me.
When Arealight started producing his Twi'lek head in lime green and also printed it to look like the character Hera from the new Star Wars Rebels show I was very excited. I am not a real big fan of LEGO's twi'lek head and thought this would be a great opportunity to see if I could tweak the fig and make it look a bit better, in my opinion.
Arealight himself beat me to the punch when he posted a photo of this pilot helmet cut and placed on his Twi'lek head, but he cut the entire rear portion of the helmet off. I decided to take that idea to the next level. I cut the top of the Twi'lek head off, separated the tentacles from each other, drilled holes in the pilot helmet and then it was a lengthy game of cutting, trimming, sanding and fitting the tentacles into the holes I drilled. This is the final result! I'm very pleased with how it came out, and yes.. the goggles flip down and line up with her eyes too. Here they are side by side.. Which do you like more?
^w^ Lalala~ Working on some more custom Obitsu heads to sell! This one and the next one after it have a shared theme; stars! The two of them together are meant to represent the constellation Gemini. This one is the "left twin" and I call them "Pollux" after the star that makes the "head" of the left twin. They have their half of the Gemini constellation on their right cheek and their counterpart, Castor, has their half on their left cheek. When you have the two heads side-by side they complete the constellation ^u^
Anyways, I'm working on the other twin now but I thought i'd snap a WIP shot of this little one before I take them out for sealing again~
*u* I think i might try making custom wigs to go with these two little ones as well! I think I have some colors on hand that would go great with their colors!
the funny thing is....I do this custom to put him in my comedy stop motion XD and I haven't watched any movie of him....but I do watch the robot chickens his voice is an angel XD
Base, Longshot Custom, civvy 1 and 2, tac 1 and 2.
The 1s are basically what you buy from the store. 2s are aftermarket upgrades.
The longshot I just threw in because it's a 1911. Features full profile compensator and las sight built into the comp.
Credit to Awesomenight of course.

Before and After. I Have been taking a break from the first gear stuff lately, but this is my latest truck
Here is the final photo of the custom bed. Similar, but with a few tweaks to make it look more mission/rustic and less urban/ikea!
It's a California King size, and wow, is it big! I wish I had enough doll room to keep it for myself-- as it is, I barely had enough room on my teeny table to photograph it, lol!

I took a shot at making my own custom AT-RT like any self-respecting LEGO Star Wars fan would, and I think it turned out pretty decent. I borrowed a few ideas from the AT-RT found in 8098 Clone Turbo Tank from 2010 for the body but the legs are completely custom to my knowledge. I used Mixel joints for their wider range of motion for the hips and ankles, but also used brackets to restrict sideways motion for the knees. This allows for more dynamic poses you see these things do in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and to even balance on one leg. I had considered adding colors to represent the different regiments, but this thing has been built for three weeks, if I was going to do it, I'd have done it already. Thanks for stopping by.
