Il viadotto Scarassoui è una delle opere che a mio avviso riesce a conciliare una valle di origine antica con un'architettura moderna ma che si incastra perfettamente nel paesaggio.
il 21 Agosto 2016 ci passò la ormai Consueta Doppia di Minuetti (MD091+MD001) con il Regionale Mattutino da Fossano per Ventimiglia, passando su questo maestoso capolavoro situato nei pressi del paesino di Berghe Superiore
The Scarassoui Viaduct is on e of the most significant bridges on the "Tenda"-Railway Between Cuneo and Ventimiglia/Nice. It's a great symbol of modernity that fits perfecly in the old shapes of the Roya-Canyon. On the 21st of August, the Regional train made by two Trenitalia Minuetto DMU's passed over this wonderpiece of modern art and Engineering southbound to Ventimiglia.
Il comune di Govone, situato nel Roero sulla sponda sinistra del fiume Tanaro, in provincia di Cuneo, ma al confine con il Monferrato e a metà strada tra le città di Alba e di Asti, per la sua posizione centrale e favorevole ai commerci, già in epoca romana era attraversato da importanti vie di comunicazione.
The municipality of Govone, located in the Roero on the left bank of the Tanaro river, in the province of Cuneo, but on the border with the Monferrato and halfway between the cities of Alba and Asti, due to its central position and favorable to trade, already in Roman times it was crossed by important communication routes.
