After not building any tanks for like 6 months (technically more since the last one wasn’t even really a tank) I would say I did a decent job. Look for some more tanks in the coming weeks 👀

I had a very enjoyable visit with my grandson to this amazing place, The Barker Comic and Cartoon Museum! From Vintage 1930s Mickey Mouse Toothpaste to a 1:1 Scale Replica of the Hulk, every toy you’ve ever played with (or dreamed of) is displayed amongst the 88,000+ antique toys and collectibles within the Barker Character, Comic, and Cartoon Museum. Official Museum for Celebriducks, California Raisins, and Gumby! I shot a bunch of shots, all with a cell phone (not like me, I know) and most were behind glass cabinets. What a trip with so many memories to enjoy! I hope you'll also enjoy seeing some of the shots I walked away with, and more will follow...no car shots today :))
After a disappointingly clear sky and dull sunrise at Sutton Heath on Thursday I stumbled across Iken Fen whilst driving back to the office. Luckily the sky was coming to life a bit more so managed to get something from the day.

#126/365 Well it's getting to the point where in the afternoons I'm walking around the office looking at people desks for things to photograph. This is my second "indy" based photo and my second "lego" photo. I think this photo needs a little something more....oh yeah, more cowbell! HBW!

I got the classic castle itch yesterday, I thought I'd practice. And see how far my bley brick extends to. Nothing fancy, just a big ol' tower. I left the interior blank in case I get some motivation to go back and put something in there.

Constructed around a massive particle cannon and also equipped with ion guns and anti-fighter turrets, these destroyers decisively end space fleet battles with overwhelming force.
The engine design here was actually originally intended for the Restoration Crusader I made a while ago. I really like the angular and aggressive engine design, but it wasn't really meshing with the more reserved angles of that model's body. I ended up coming up with a different engine design for that model but I kept these and finally made a new ship that I think works better with them.
Note: This was not shot at an airshow. In all the hours I have spent @ PDX shooting everything from fighters to seaplanes I have NEVER seen a show like this. Friday marked the conclusion of a two week annual DACT (Dissimilar Air Combat Training) event between our resident F-15s and a gaggle of Vipers from Texas. To end the exercise on a high note 6 F-16s and 4 F-15s went out in full reheat all the way down the runway and pitched it into verticle and straight on up to 15,000 feet. The pitch ups were bone crushing and they did all types of rolls and such and kept the burners plugged even when level heading to the coast. AMAZING. Like all hell breaking loose. I was in the right place at the right time. All this at our local international airport!
