i almost forgot i had this camera, its been that long since i have used it, this image is from my converted INFRARED camera.
Long-distance migrant. Twice a year, Scarlet Tanagers fly across the Gulf of Mexico between their breeding grounds in eastern North America and their wintering grounds in South America. They usually migrate at night. Individuals that spend the winter farther south migrate to breeding grounds later, and in more synchronized bursts, than individuals wintering further north. Second time that I have the opportunity to see this nice red fox.
I could do one photo not far form her ( it is a female ) and then few from far away when she was hunting.
So this photo is a full cropped view (2k over 8k) to make a kind of portrait of this nice young fox.
I used the photo done as she was near to me +/-20m to make this crop.
I'll post a larger view of this photo later.

After ignoring a sign that said "danger" and moving on a narrow trail we ended up in this magnificent place.
I noticed that white rock with dark spots on it, and as we got closer I realized that those tiny black dots were in fact birds (most probably Brandt's Cormorants) !
This is a 100% crop from a photograph I posted earlier titled "Birds at Golden Gate National Park" so the birds are visible on the huge rock ! But I think seeing the overall view was more pleasant.

The theme of Macro Mondays for this week is Redux. I chose the curves theme and have cropped this one quite a bit. Color processing always feels challenging and this one was no exception. I hope this brightens your day and serves as reminder that we all have challenges that we need to work on overcoming.

This door and windows appear on a side street very near the beach at Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. This image is a tighter cropping of the same image I posted (later in this stream) earlier. It seems much better without as many of the distracting elements.
