It’s been a cold windy day today. Well, December is here with a smile. Have a great weekend!

It's still difficult for me to create autumn scenes when it's still warm and sunny around, but the colours are gorgeous ;) <3

Schaut knusprig aus :-)

Not meant to be eaten.

Erinnert irgendwie an eine Süßigkeit. Erstaunlich, dass die Pflanze so etwas produzieren kann.

Are there any animals that are interested in such a "candy"?

Saw this on the side of the road this morning and found a new place to shoot, before the sun melts the frost.

Crazy Tuesday - theme of March 31, 2020: "Something that rhymes with three"

I hope, 'crispy' (or spicy or crunchy) is alright! :))

I had a hard time coming up with an image or just an idea:

two weeks of home office and self distancing finally is running down my muse it seems ... but then I saw my hubby munching away these hot tortilla crisps / chips (Doritos)

HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday, everyone !

... and please stay safe

(sorry - won't have much time for Flickr until very late this evening)

Crispy white. Daffodil Acropolis

February has brought a serious cold and some strong snow storms. The fields around the city are covered with a thick snow carpet. We like to walk there looking for some new vistas and listening to the crispy snow under our feet.

Thank you for all the comments and faves, my friends.

Heading to Banff. After the green winter of Victoria this snowy winterland was a true adventure

As far as I’m concerned one is never too old for rice crispy treats ;)

Some of the vegetation in Washington state got singed from a 110F or higher heat wave in the Pacific northwest that happened a few weeks before I arrived. This is a fern along a trail in the Black Diamond Natural Area.

A frosty cold morning at Mavora Lakes.

Evenings on Mabul Island Sabah Borneo are serene and offer perfect opportunities to enjoy magnificent sunsets.

Thanks for your visit

The fire in the Cedar Breaks area of Utah impacted some of the skies while I was east of the location earlier in the trip. On our way back from Yosemite heading to Capitol Reef, our route took us to the National Monument and the areas just outside the park where the fires had burned for quite some time.

Made a few captures of the burned areas that we saw as we traveled through the area. Fire Fighters were still engaged in locations on many of the back forest roads based on the signs we saw.

HMM !

While out early one morning shooting the sunrise I noticed that the seaweed around my feet was covered in frost. So, when the sun came over the horizon, it cast a golden light across the seaweed highlighting the frost even more.
