Uniqueness is a requirement of creativity. If something is just like everything else, it's not considered to be creative. Unfortunately, many believe creativity requires things to be radically unique, but that's generally not the case. Small, subtle differences can be extremely powerful and result in some highy unique and creative results.

It shifts our focus from the problems that exist right now to the solutions that may exist tomorrow. This helps to keep things in perspective. It also provides energy, enthusiasm, and excitement to keep going despite difficulties.
